nah they're to stupid to play rugby, we're better off developing the younger blokes teaching them to play the game properly.

actually if there was one id have to say k hunt, he played for aus schoolboys in union and league one tough nut and confident, probs end up being broncos capt or sumthin but the reds could really use him instead of bringin old *****s like walker back. be a hell of a loss to league though.

not big enough for any position in the forward pack except maybe flanker, but would b too old to contest at 90% of breakdowns in a match. i personally dont think there would be any code swtiches over the next 2 years. aust rugby looks as though it will be peaking soon with the likes of kurtley, quade cooper, berrick barnes and lachie turner.

amen to that, spend the time and money on these blokes they have as much talent as the league blokes they'll pay dived ends.

I disagree with you there sorry bud. Personally I reckon Steve Menzies would make an awesome Flanker. I don't think his age would hold him back; look at Lawrence Dallaglio! The only thing is that no amount of money could make Menzies switch codes... He's too loyal to Manly.

It won't happen because he has only 1 or 2 seasons left in him, but Menzies has pace, and is a sensational ball player. If he was 27 or so I would snap him up in a flash. Also remember he can cover fly half and centre, and even wing or fullback in an emergency.

I'd also like to see some of the union players who were snapped up by league clubs. Like Cooper Cronk- he's definitely got the skills for it.

Wade McKinnon - This boy has great timing into the backline/off the shoulder of an off load ala John G 1987 ABz FB...imagine this guy at the end of ANY australian super 14 backline... Sonny-Bill - play him in the centres, let see him put those shoulders to good use... Its hard cos in both sports nowadays positions are so much more specialised point in case the Prop position in both codes are so different, the backlines are close but I mean, imagine Lockyer in the 10 jersey and although I have no doubt of his skill as a natural athlete he would get done everywhere else, can he really dictate the code as he does in League...tough ask..

Please, it would have to be no other than that cowboys young gun who they picked up from the Broncos. Scott "the mint" Minto.

he'd be good, but unless he's playing fullback its a waste of talent, could play 5/8, but i think they'd be better off working on cooper.
