The game will be played at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. This marks the tenth time a Super Bowl will have been played in the South Florida metropolitan area: five times the game has been held at Sun Life Stadium; the other five were played at the Orange Bowl. It will mark the fourth time the Indianapolis/Baltimore Colts franchise have played in the Super Bowl, each of which has been played in South Florida, as well as the first time the New Orleans Saints have ever made it. The game will be played on February 7, 2010 at 6:30 PM Eastern Time. It is the latest calendar date for a Super Bowl thus far.

This is it lads, keep all Superbowl talk in here. If you want. I just feel this needs its own thread.

I have the Colts winning a close game by 7-10 points. I just think Peyton Manning will be the difference. He's a cut above everyone else in the NFL, if you ask me. Or maybe a close shave above Drew Brees.

Pushed back the Daytona 500, too. Now the Great American Race goes against the opening days of the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

Yep Colts all the way. They don't come any better than Peyton Manning. Have to be a slave to the man when the game's on though Sad so can't watch it.

Is the Pro Bowl on this weekend? Can't see Manning playing in it though.

None of the Super Bowl-qualified players take part in the Pro Bowl. Part of why the idea of having it before the Super Bowl stinks.q

The Pro Bowl game is a joke anyway. I'm psyched for the Senior Bowl though, should be very interesting.

I favor the Colts going into the game slightly, but I'll be rooting for the Saints to win.

It was the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers won is a ripper.

The game should be on at around 10am EDST.

New Orleans normally flies underneath my radar but as a Patriots fan I'm right on that bandwagon. GO SAINTS!!!

Lets go Colts!

Im glad the Saints got through coz I dont think we would have fared too well vs the running of AP and the Vikes. That being said if Reggie Bush and co get going it will be tough to stop em.

Confident of winning a 2nd SB in 4 years though Very Happy

I think the Kardashian Girls are good luck. Every franchise is going to want one. Lamar Odom just married the other one. He ain't going too bad, eh? Lakers NBA Champions, after all. They are the complete opposite of Jessica Simpson!! Laughing

The Who is the half-time entertainment! They are still an awesome band. I saw them in Sydney last year and they blew me away. It should be a good show. Springsteen was AWESOME last year!!

It's funny, ever since the well-known 'Wardrobe Malfunction' there have been a series of very 'safe' performers. Especially this year as the Super Bowl is on CBS, the network where the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake moment occurred.

2005: Paul McCartney
2006: The Rolling Stones
2007: Prince
2008: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
2009: Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band
2010: The Who
