Vaingalo guy?? he cant even make gps ones, let alone should he make NSW, im a tad confused as to why everyone was rating him to be an aussie schoolboy?? McCafferey has got to be the front runner for it, although Luke Jones has moved to number 8, where he plays now at Pius and hes been a dominant force there, so even he may get picked in the backrow yet......he was injured in early minutes of ISA v CHS game tho I agree, Keleti has been talked up big time and I was disappointed with both his and Ha'angana's performances from what i have heard about them. In saying that a few guys i know who are capable of playing out of their skin and didn't on tuesday night due to injury concerns they were playing with, maybe these guys were just having an off game too?

i think usaia's performance on tuesday night has led everyone to believe he will be an automatic pick for nsw and aussie schoolboys. dont get me wrong he was best on field for sure but i think he needs to back that performance up today against ISA to prove that it was no one game wonder. if he does then by all means nsw and aussie schoolboys.
also i dont think either of the GPS flankers are with a chance they were completely unnoticeable on tuesday and had very little to no impact from what i saw. and i think goodman is in with a very good chance. people say he hasnt performed well and that they havent seen much of him, thats becuase at every ruck he is the first one there on the ball and by the time everyone else arrives he is at the bottom and cant be seen. if you tracked him all game he would by far have run the furthest distance the whole game. the kid does not get tired, is near impossible to clean out when he bridges, and is simply unbelievably strong for a kid of his age. i think: 6. usaia 7. goodman 8. mccaffrey a young and very mobile backrow and a near unstoppable force

Sadly Keliti is being troubled by a knee injury. And I agree, just at the moment doesn't seem anywhere near mobile enough to take advantage of his natural power game. Which adds up to bad news for Newington, GPS, NSW... etc etc (and good news for all the other number 8s) www.footypix.org

My backrow would be:
6. Usaia O'Sullivan 7. Miles McCaffrey/Michael Hooper 8. Keliti Vaingalo
O'Sullivan should be a definite pick at 6 for mine. On Tuesday, he was undoubtedly the best player on the park by far and I can't see past him for the NSW 6 jersey. Very mobile and and has enough toe to play in the backline.
McCaffrey has been solid without being outstanding but has done enough in my books to make a claim for the NSW 7 jersey. But not sure when Hooper is back and if right for Nationals, would definitely have him in this position with a doubt. But if not right, McCaffrey for this spot.
Vaingalo hasn't been playing too bad, but hasn't been his usual self. From what I understand, he was out for a few weeks with a knee injury but has come back early to try and stake a claim for representative honours. But I would pick him on the onus that he will come good once Nationals roll around. At his best, there is no question as to who is the most damaging player in the team.
