since when?

since he first came on to the scene!
when he started with his like 6 man entourage crew who would speak for him, and how before most grand slams he is talking himself up.
Murray does have an ego, there's no denying.

What's so egotistical about that?

Never heard him say anything but the usual things players say about wanting to win the title

just his continuing slinging contest against the media is an indication of how highly he sees himself.
he should just let the media do what they do, and shut them up via his game on the court - but he doesnt do that.
his six man entourage crew is pretty uncommon in mens tennis.

Always liked hewitt.

Trys hard and is proud to be australian.

Although he has been of the boil for a few years, im really happy for him for sticking it out.

I think he will lose in the semi.

Unlucky Sprooly, you missed a classic Hewitt fightback. Was worth staying up until close to 5am.

Leyton would be lucky to make the QFs if he plays well, Roger to win another title now that Nadal is injured.

Well he was lucky to make the QFs, I stopped watching the 4th rd match at the end of the 2nd set when the doc came out to check his leg, gave myself an uppercut when I found out he 'd won in 5. Love Leyton because he never gives up!

Well, no way I could stay till 5 AM and woke up to get to work the next day

That is why I love my foxtel IQ (worth to spend the $10)
got up early in the morning and I watched his come back

I stayed up until 7am for the Haas vs. Cilic match. My excuse? It's Wimbledon.

The difference in the match(i watched it until the very end) is endurance!!

Stepanek struggled and was weak. Hewitt was solid and continued to grind out games and pressured Stepanek and he couldnt handle it.

he used to be a bit of a tool i think, but he's grown up since he dated Clijsters and has a good head on his shoulders and is a top bloke.
he's very likeable nowadays, you must concede.
