OK so some great news of late regarding the International structure for next year and beyond.
Ok so at the top we a 4 Nations featuring Australia, England, New Zealand and France. This is all but confirmed and will be held in England and France with the opening game Australia V England likely to be held at Wembley.
Then the all important tournaments for lower ranked pacific and european teams.
A 6 team ero cup will most likely be held in 2 pools. Pool A Ireland, Wales, Serbia and Pool B Scotland, Russia and Lebanon. Winner of each pool into a final.
A Pacific nations is also very likely, it has been mentioned as being PNG, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, USA and either Japan (Won't happen), South Africa or Cook Islands, to be held in the US. Either this or separate Pacific and Atlantic comps.
The winner of the 2009 Pacific comp gets a spot in either a 4 (not including France) or 5 (including France) nations in 2010.
All looking very good, hopefully by the time the next WC in 2013 comes around we won't have these rubbish player swaping because playing for the likes of Fiji or Tonga will be attractive enough to not ditch them for the Kiwis.

Hmmm well the Euro comp Ireland and Scotland would be hard to split, although Wales and Lebanon will be right up there. Russia and Serbia are fairly in-experienced at this level but it is great reward for both of them. Serbia is one of if not the fastest developing nations in RL, Russia have a pro set-up. So I would tip Scotland but it will be close. Pacific will be even closer, I would expect Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and PNG would all finish better than the US although the home advantage could do wonders. Can't split Tonga and Samoa as favorites but it will be real tight.
