Who would you rather have in your midfield if both had the perfect set up in their team (e.g. they could both play at their absolute best)!

Obviously you would all have Martin Skrtel but who would you prefer after him, Fatty or Timmy!!

id say lampard, i think the fact that he plays for chelsea people will think he's better if cahill played for a big 4 club he'd get more accaldes as a better midfielder. for example when saha signed for man united he suddenly got a call up for france

agree with what you are saying, richard garcia isn't getting a call-up for the socceroos, but would still rather lampard

yeah but the fact that there are more world class players around him means that standing out isnt quite as easy
for example zaki stands out at wigan but if he moved to man utd he wouldnt because he wouldnt get a start

both sides of the coin. i'm with t_dogga on this one. if you're from a small country (footballing wise), and move to a massive club, you could play reserves the whole time and still be a hero.

No doubt both are important to their respective clubs, but as I am a Chelsea supporter, I'll say Lampard as he is instrumental to Chelsea.

And since when was Lampard fat?
