Bulldog Ben Roberts has been cleared to play for Samoa, Parramatta's Jarryd Hayne for Fiji, Warrington's Louis Anderson and Melbourne's Antonio Kafusi have both been granted transfer to play for Tonga.
Fuifui Moimoi and Wests Tigers' Taniela Tuiaki Have had their applications to transfer to Tonga from New Zealand rejected as it is their second such switch in under 2 years. They both switched from Tonga to New Zealand for the tour of England last year.

i disagree with that, just choose a country and stick with them, thats what makes international rugby league worse than international rugby union

Thats fine as far for me, New Zealand got the benifit in keepinf Fui Fui Moi Moi and Taniela Tuiaki. I dont care about Ben Roberts, he is not even a good player and cant even make the dogs. All I ask now is that Ben Roberts, Jarrayd Hayne, Louis Anderson and Antonio Kafusi dont switch representative teams.

Also the way I read it is those players who are switching allegiances can not switch back for at least two years. I'm not sure but does that mean Hayne is no longer eligible for State of Origin????

Eligibility depends on who is available. Depends on who is picking, rules need to change

yeah i know that happend but does it really matter international league is not big it would be better for our game to see close matches Mybe if our international comp was as big as union's then i would have a concern but at the moment theclubs have more power then the countries similar to basketball.

The problem is that with that sort of attitude the international game will never grow. There is potential for our game to be as big as Union on the international stage, but if you just take this apathetic attitude towards it then it doesn't even have a chance. Do you think Union would allow this sort of ***** to prevent 100-0 scorelines at their world cup..... No, because you see them every 4 years, but they don't change the eligibility rules to help them out. I applaud the international body for ruling these players ineligible, I still think they need to change the system so you can not change, but then players have to be released to play for these minnow nations by their clubs.

Hayne can play Origin next year he just applies to switch alliance back. I got no problem with it if its for a world cup. I think Fui Fui and Tuaki should also be allowed to play, so what if they switched earlier. Those people sayin internation league will never strengthen if these changes continue just arent thinking. If these players had to make a decision when they were 18 to who they wanted to play for and stick with it for their career they would all be choosing AUS & NZ as they are the top teams, we would never have these players playing for Tonga or Samoa. At least now they are competitve and hopefully they are so competitve they stick with it.
The comment above about Fui Fui and Tuaki dropping Tonga when picked for NZ and now missing out and now they want to be Tongan again is a little unfair on the players. The NZ team knew they were Tongan and asked them(applied pressure) to switch because they didnt have any NZ players good enough to tour now they have brushed them and left them without a side, its not just the players but also the teams fault. Teams place a lot of pressure on players to make the switch when it suits them. The board should have let these players change and said you cant change back that would be 2 switches in 2 years, Hayne and others will be having 2 switches in 3 months when they swap back.
