I'm tipping most North Melbourne supporters will be following them in about 5 years.

I think the only people who might change might be AFL supporters on the GC, and maybe newer supporters and people who don't really have a team.

I know some folk that live in the vicinity that have always supported a Victorian club, but are planning to change allegiances when GC17 materialise. Traitorism, I call it, but there you go.

I've never been to the GC, so I doubt I'll be supporting them.
But I have switched teams twice before - firstly when West Coast started in 1987, and then to Freo in 1995 when they enterred the comp. I'll stick with Freo for now.

Not really. They only supported an AFL team cause they had no other choice.

Does everyone think that the AFL would bring in a new team in a place where they think would get no support base? I think they sat down and pondered where a new AFL team would get a decent fan base before they set anything in stone. Surely the AFL dont expect people to switch teams?!

Only a real minority on here would actually be from the GC so it may finish without an affirmative vote.. Cant see many from Melbourne/Sydney switching ofc.
