Confirmed trades so far:
TRADE: Collingwood's Rhys Shaw and pick 61 to Sydney for pick 46.
TRADE: Brisbane's Anthony Corrie to Collingwood for pick 93.
TRADE: Western Bulldogs' Farren Ray and pick 48 to St Kilda for pick 31.

That (RShaw deal) is a huge win to Sydney, but Collingwood may not have been going to use pick #61 anyway, since they get Corrie for #93 and will use their last pick to take the NSW scholarship kid (whose name escapes me).

AGREE! I think Farren is a pretty damn good player but hasnt hit his potential yet. Im tipping his move to St Kilda as the ignition to his career. Good luck to him...

lets not get to excited, farren ray isnt a damn good player, he butches the ball, his decision making is shocking and he is soft as butter, could be the new fiona.

Depends ... do they have anyone at Punt Road who can read and write and use a fax machine? I guess they could drag somebody out of the Cricketer's Arms during lunch break?

Maybe it's easier to say nothing. We haven't listed the other 600 players that are staying with their current clubs

By the way, if you re-sign with a club but you already have a contract in place, do you just sign your name again under where you already have signed????????????????????

Is this a serious question? If you already have a contract in place, then you can extend it by altering the end data and remuneration, usually contained in a schedule. In this case, you only need to replace and sign the schedule - the existing contract stands. If you are altering any of the terms and conditions of the contract itself you will need to sign a new contract ... ... or you could just initial the amendments to the existing contract, and sign an appendix which indicates that you have initialled instead of signing ...
