HA HA...so no one so far has voted for Qatar to win? Not despite the injuries to the Australian team?! C'mon man where's the ransackers of this forum. (OK it mightn't be a walkover...jus because the bookies have Qatar at 10/1 to win! ) With Harry Kewell, Mark Bresciano, Vinnie Grella and Carl Valeri out (and do we need to mention Mark Viduka anymore?) my revised line-up is: ----------------------------------Schwarzer--------------------------------------- -------Beauchamp----------Neill------- Moore---------Chipperfield----------- -------Wilkshire---------Culina-----------Cahill-----------------Carney-------- ----------------------MacDonald---------Kennedy------------------------------- Subs: Galekovic (gk) Spiranovic Coyne Holman Garcia Sterjovski Djite

So, the revised line-up with Emerton is:
----------------------------------Schwarzer--------------------------------------- -----------Emerton----------Neill------- Moore---------Chipperfield----------- -------Wilkshire---------Culina-----------Cahill-----------------Carney-------- ----------------------MacDonald---------Kennedy-------------------------------
Subs:
Galekovic (gk) Spiranovic Coyne Holman Garcia Sterjovski Djite

McDonald shouldn't have bothered flying over if they're gonna have him as a lone striker. If its one up front it will be either Kennedy of Djite. ----------------------------------Schwarzer--------------------------------------- -----------Emerton----------Neill------- Moore---------Chipperfield----------- ----------------------------------Culina----------------------------------------- -------Wilkshire-----------------------------------------------Carney-------- -----------------------------------Cahill------------------------------------------- ----------------------McDonald---------Kennedy-------------------------------

Sweet leaping Jesus! Got defense much, or just counter-attack til you die? Do we need to chase? We could go with that line-up though, just defenders of three, bunt Carney off til the 60th for Chipperlad, and bring his Holyness on. Then we has the mobility to slide into this should things go ape-faeces.

I think Australia should win 2-0. We're at home. Should be a comfy win, though Qatar has been doing well this campaign.

Then Kennedy or Djite MUST start ahead of McDonald. Theres no way he can have him as a lone striker. He can hold the ball well for a midget, but he cant get the ball in air.

kennedy, don't see him as a full 90 minute player for Australia althought he is good in the air. btw, im not sure if the rumours about the lone striker are true because some dudes said that pim will go with a lone striker on the radio
