Another one I'm fond of is the 93 Preliminary...... Crows 42 points up at half time then choked.
Bewick kicked 6... a couple of crackers from the boundary.
Derek Kickett was ;ucky to touch the ball twice and thats why he got dropped... did nothing in the finals at all.

Alpha magazine came wit ha dvd of the greatest AFL comebacks this issue. Or NRL comebacks in the LEastern States. Essendon over North was number 1. Fair enuff imo.

It stands as the biggest comeback of all time at 3/4 time. yeah, it was excellent for me!!! hawks went and stood in the shade at 3/4 time they copped a spray afterwards from all teh media for it!!

the problem I have with the north v ess won is they still had plenty of time to do it. its not like the comebacks when your down by 50 at 3/4 time. they had 2 and a half quarters.
its funny, because they always so its the biggest turnaround, but what about when a side kicks the first goal, then lose by 100. - thats the same thing, its a 106 point turnaround!!

Haw v. Geelong, Princess Park , early nineties/late eighties. Hawks down by 9/10 at half time and cruised to a tidy win. Sorry, bit sketchy on all the details, but one fantastic match.

1. Essendon were 69 points behind against Roos
2. Hawks were 63 behind against Saints
3. Hawks were about 60 odd behind against Geelong in a game during the late 80's
I thought someone this year created a new 3/4 time record come back? Either Brisbane or Cyarlton against Port?

I thin Melbourne's against Freo was fairly special. I agree with the thread maker, WCE beating Geelong a couple of years ago when down by 9 goals at some stage in the third quarter was massive. The Bombers/Kangas one was very good, but I think it was an end-to-end game, Essendon was only down by about 3-4 goals at the half.
