Looks like it could of been a bit windy that day by the score bringing Melbourne's accuracy down to the saints level.lol

you have to be joking... they'll win some games, dont u worry about that.
if u cant see that they held back a couple of games to ensure last position ur kidding urself. they also should have beaten hawthorn the second time around this year if not for umpiring decisions that turned the tide of the game, melbourne were beating hawthorn for most of the day. and went toe to toe with geelong at skilled stadium... how quickly people forget..

if melbourne dont get 5 wins this year, i reckon they will still recieve the number 1 pick.
they have said the GC will get 1,2,3,5 or whatever, but if melbourne get less then 20 pts it will be 2 years in a row, so they get priority at start of draft.

No. If they win the spoon they get pick #2 (regardless of how many games they win), since GC get pick #1. If they win less than 5 games they will get a priority pick at the end of draft round 1, which, instead of being pick #17, will be something like pick #21 since GC are taking extra first round picks.

Actually, he's right. If you win less than 5 games in consecutive years, the priority pick jumps to the start of the draft. That's how Carlton got Kreuzer last year, despite Richmond finishing 16th. If Melbourne win fewer than 5 games, the AFL might have an issue as to where Melbourne get that pick, whether it bumps all the other picks down (as it would normally) or whether they put it behind a Gold Coast pick or two (not a normal draft year).
