Well without Cattalini (stood down for a game for drink driving) the Breakers should win this one. I'm going Breakers big. Kirk Penney to light it up.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Taipans produce a big performance today .. they know they have to lift in the absense of Cattalini and on the back of two straight defeats ... Breakers on the other hand are off a couple of big wins and may find it tough if they take take the attitude of "picking up where they left off" into this game.
Taipans also have a successful record in New Zealand.

It's a tricky one. Breakers might get a bit coc ky with being the only undefeated team and with Catallini out. Black has a habit of lighting it up from outside against NZ e.g. When Brisbane tore NZ up a few seasons ago from outside.
But I tipped NZ with my gaze.com.au tips, so NZ for the win.

Tim Behrendorff is out injured. Could see a bit of Thomas Abercrombie tonight, or Adam Tanner. Abercrombie looks a good prospect, he's set to go on to big things with what he's shown.

Well I was wrong, Timmy Behrendorff did play. Knocked down a 3 pointer too which was good.
Anyway, a disappointing loss but the Breakers were really out-hustled by the Taipans. Although the refereeing in the first half was disgustingly bad. It was like rugby the number of times they blew the whistle. They were calling fouls on us when we tried to slide through the Taipans screens and it really was shockingly bad, and I'm not just having a rant cause we lost.
Anyway, we play the Blaze next week which should hopefully see us end our run of home games with a win.
