Yeah, the family club that destroys families by putting pokies in the poorer suburbs nowhere near Hawthorn.  I don't think Hawthorn fans are the most hated club. But if they do reach that stage, it's on their own request. They keep saying how they're gonna hit 50,000 members and have more supporters and money than anybody else, so by extension, they have to take the good with the bad and be the most hated also. But then again, who cares anyway? I'm sure Hawks fans won't give a rats tossbag if they're the most hated, I know I couldn't care less if people hate Geelong.

Do you agree Pies are traditionally hated because, when it mattered more I spose, they were the only CATHOLIC team in the comp...I guess in the first half of the 20th century, and indeed in the beginning, that wouldve mattered to a lot of churchey types, and then the hate just got passed down gen to gen, cos real hate DOESNT DIE. Hawthorn are the new Hawthorn, they are doing enough to stick in MY craw!!
