Just thought this would be good thread to help people back a winner! Can be anything at all, GALLOPS, HARNESS, DOGS.
Just make what reasons why it's a "black booker" ie missed start a run a botler, got caught wide etc...etc...etc... sure you's get the drift.
Oh yeah, and please put the STATE & region (if you know eg: City runner...Northern QLD) to make it easier for everyone to follow.

Got one from Geelong today:
Breisis Gold Cup DAKA'S GEM, got held up at a crutial stage, only got clear running in the last 100m, and took considerable ground of the winner in the later stages. very good run from the roughie, probably should've finished within half a length of the winner.

German Chocolate - Racing @ Randwick on saturday in race9 (see other post).
Had this thing marked so i was ready to back it in its next start. It is a tough open race but I think it will be at very juicy odds. Last start it was blocked for a run then got clear & surged to the line. Quality horse & looks well suited in this race.
Have it each-way.

Was a little slow away and Merthens just sat last, and let it roll home. On a day where the rail was out 16m (i think), not many were making ground, but she got home well enough. Don't think they were trying too hard.....

Mentioned this one in the "hot tips" thread and thats Cheerine sun. Ran 3rd in RockHomeLate's race at sale last Thursday after sitting 6&7 wide for the majority of the race and still was getting to the line strong to go down a long neck. Was only its 1st start but i was impressed, infact i think we connected.. Anyway i see its racing in the get out stakes at Morphettville tommorow which seems a bloody long way to go for a 2nd starter just to have a run, so i expect it to go close.

Chakvetadze - 2 starts 2 wins by about 7 lengths on both occassions.
Good idea Dke - you should edit the first post, creating a list of the back bookers. So we do not have to keep scrolling through all of the posts. It should evolve as new ones come on and some get sacked.

It may have been obvious, but away from the wfa stars today, Light Vision has 50kg in both cups and is just an honest dour on pace stayer with the awesome record of 10 wins from 25 ... will give a sight in everything it races in from now on ... same race, Dolphin Jo came back to form ... super 5th in the big one last year, after winning The Bart *****mings as a lead up (Light Vision was 3rd that day, then put away for this year).

Thank you Dr E. wrote:It may have been obvious, but away from the wfa stars today, Light Vision has 50kg in both cups and is just an honest dour on pace stayer with the awesome record of 10 wins from 25 ... will give a sight in everything it races in from now on ... same race, Dolphin Jo came back to form ... super 5th in the big one last year, after winning The Bart *****mings as a lead up (Light Vision was 3rd that day, then put away for this year). You have got to remember the rail was a fair bit out yesterday, which suited on pace runners & ones that just sat off the pace, but I do agree with you that Light Vision is on the way up. Would be a good roughy on cup day if the track is on pace bias again, I'll probably just back on cup day I think.

Looked a good chance comming to turn but got a squeezed up between 2 horses and the horse looked like it shat itself and raced greenly down the straight. Wont sack it yet but does look as if it doesnt appreciate horses on its outside which is a bit of a problem in this game...
