Raf, don't bother have a little bitch about your poll not going the way you want. Do you honestly expect people to watch Serie A, let alone a team like Lazio. I enjoy watching Serie A but even though I knew that Lazio was winning, I didn't know that their strikers were in hot form.

And also, I have to follow the lead of others and say that yes, Villa is in white-hot form. He and Zarate would be contenders for most in-form player right now. whoever told you that is very shallow-minded, not a liverpool supporter, or probably both. yes, keane only just got off the mark yesterday. yes, he is expected to score goals. what people continue to overlook is his off the ball play. he has a footballing brain from a different world. the runs he makes draw defenders to him, giving torres more space to work. he is also a nuisance, and constantly pressures defenders into errors. not to mention his assist count is climbing, and we are seeing the first signs of the pair starting to (finally!) gel. i voted against torres and keane in this poll, but to say keane has been terrible to date is a massive overstatement.

All that said, Torres and Keane have certainly not been the best strike duo in the world on current form. Current form should at least incorporate 5-10 games...and over 5-10 games, no one should be able to say that they have worked brilliantly together. I agree about Keane not needing to score too much, but he should be providing goals for torres at least. Torres hasn't even been scoring prolificly until his brace. Liverpool fans must surely hope that they improve together overall, which suggests that they see a lot more improvement to go. Any Liverpool fan that says that are playing brilliantly are delluding themselves, they are working on it and will get better. There are players with much more early season form in that list.

Isn't there a couple of lads in the Argentine league that have scored 16 in there past 9 games together?

like i said mate, i didn't vote for them. i just thought that calling keane "terrible" was a bit much. i certainly don't think they've been brilliant. starting to warm up, but not on fire just yet.

I wasn't accusing you, I think you voted for the lazio pair if I'm not mistaken. But it is astounding that keane/torres can get 11 + votes.

keane has been close to mom in the last 3 matches - psv, everton and man utd. all top quality matches.
this bandwagon theory that he is rubbish really needs a reality check

this bandwagon theory that he is rubbish really needs a reality check he was bought for goals. his track record was the big influence of the signing i feel and not his form of last season. yeh hes a "good" player but he takes no load of torres shoulders as torres is, and until another finisher comes in to the clubs, the only man that will be consistent with goals

I didn't want it to turn out in any particular way. I just wanted to see if people on here were as ignorant as it seemed...

I'm gonna disagree, i think Keane has been playing great of late and the goals will come for him. I still think RVP and Ade should be in the pole at very least

good? work rate yes but hes missed many simple chances that any decent striekr would bury. point is. hes not worth more than half what was paid for him and hes only there to support torres. he can never shine above torres

I am totally willing to take the word of you guys and withdraw my statement that Keane had been terrible based on what I had heard and read.
I am happy to agree that he is doing a particular job for Liverpool, but I am also absolutely certain that he still has a lot of Improvement in him.
What I do know for sure though is that Keane and Torres are most definitely not the best and most in-form partnership going around right now. They are simply not scoring enough between them to earn that tag.

Rosenberg & Pizzaro and Aguero & Pongollo-however-is-spelt are going OK as well.
