Not Milan, their defence is too old, they keep starting Maldini when he should retire. They should've bought a couple young up and coming defenders in the transfer window. Abbiati is a decent keeper but not one of the greats like Casillas.

Barcelona look better on paper than Milan do. Valdes (weakness) is an ok keeper but has shown recently that he couldn't catch a balloon. Alves, Puyol, Milito, Pique all good. In the middle is where they're really strong with Xavi, Iniesta and Hleb. Of course, up front is really strong as well with Messi, Eto'o, Henry, Bojan.

Did you get that list from the pension agency??

barca do, chelski of course do, real do.

and i do agree with whoever said bayern - they have a rude side on paper - when they got all their signings last year i thought they would smash everyone - but they didint!!

you think man utd's team looks better than chelsea's?
every single player that starts for us is world class
and please no1 say that haha, ashley cole isnt world class, but he does a great job at stopping ronaldo, the supposed best player in the world

also we have great players on the bench that would start for almost any epl team

rude as in top notch, unbelievable - as it they shouldnt have a side that good, its just rude.

players - sagnol, lucio, demichelles, ribery, toni, podolski, klose, oddo, van bommel, ze roberto, lahm, schwiensteiger (and of course kahn last year)

I am a chelsea fan, but if i was to compare the teams (first teams)

Cech > Van Der Sar
Bosingwa > Brown/Neville
Carvalho and Vidic are pretty even
Terry and Ferdinand are pretty even
Cole and Evra are pretty even

Cole < Ronaldo
Lampard > Scholes
Essien > Carrick/Hargreaves
Ballack > Carrick/Hargreaves
Deco > Giggs/Nani

Drogba is at least equal to Berba/Tevez/Rooney when they're fit and firing

I may be a bit biased...but chelsea have the better keeper, defence marginally shades united's in my opinion. With the exception of ronaldo, chelsea's midfield is a lot better. But United have more depth in forwards, and have been playing rooney on/tevez on the wing which would help out their midfield ratings. Chelsea overall edges it. This is just my opinion. On paper chelsea look a bit better but not much.

As for the other teams. Real Madrid should be there, even without robinho. Barcelona is class too. AC Milan and Inter Milan are probably next with Bayern Munich very close behind with a great squad on paper.
