I have received bids from one person so far. Ok cool. Basically each day you should receive 9 Pm's with a list of bids. Then u have to go through them and note the highest bid for each player. Once you have done that, if you just post a list on this thread with the players and their winning bids, and who bought them. Then we will all do our own squads and keep track of our own money in a seperate thread. Does that make sense? Once you have all the bids I can help post the winners if you want.

I think the cutoff time should be 10.30pm AEST each night? Does that suit you?

I imagine you will need the results relatively quickly because you have to start bidding again and need to know how much money you have left right? Even if this continues after i go back to uni, it should be right, because the latest i get home is 10.30pm hahaha

Yeh mate no rush to post them. Take your time it doesnt matter if you dont post the results for a few hours after the cutoff. Everyone will still have plenty of time. Really appreciate all your help Cammo, and that goes for the EPL Fantasy Draft as well.

When are we allowed to start bidding???
And is there a certain amount of times we can bid...e.g Three bids (PM's) a night???

But it seems odd that you would want to change your bids too much seen as you wont have anything to gauge your initial bids off. Just have a good think about it before you PM Cammo and try and keep it too a minimum. But theres no problems with sending an updated list if you have a change of heart. Also, you can start now. First 4 teams have been posted. Just make sure you have bid by tommorow night. This is going to be weird I wouldnt know what to bid on someone like Terry, Drogba, Lampard etc!! Just have to have a stab I guess!!

OOh yeh one thing I was going to say was keep all your bids in increments of $500,000.
i.e. minimum bid of $500,000
Just to make things easier to add up.
Cammo if anyone has bid $1 on players I think we should make this $500,000
Its not really a lot anyway in the context of the game

Its not really a lot anyway in the context of the game So anyone with a bid under 500,000 automatically becomes 500k??? so all that can be bid is 500, 1, 1.5, 2 etc....

if i was actually running it...i would make it 100k increments...otherwise you might want to pick up a cheap player, but it costs 1/50th of your budget, which may not seem like too much, but it could impact on the bids for the big players. Oh and being supreme overlord of this game is fun hahaha

Panthers wrote:Can we trade players and money? I wouldnt have a problem with that. However, when it comes to voting, having lots of money leftover wont be taken into account. i.e. spend as much as you can!! But if you want to trade while the auction is still running so you can spend money later on then by all means go for it! Might be able to make a bit of profit on some of those bargain buys!
