Cache- Its where info not currently in use is stored for easy access in the future. Clearing cache in an IE7 browser- Tools>internet options>(under browsing history) delete> internet files & cookies. done  And having no images- either check plugins (as said above) try another browser. Dont use IE8 or Chrome they are Beta versions and arent supported by all systems so they may not work as well for you. Try Firefox
