ive always rated heidfeld myself, don't get me wrong. he is arguably the most underrated driver in the field, and definately has Championship-winning capabilities.
Yes he is a good driver, and I like him as a driver but he just isnt in the same league as Vettel, Hamilton and Kubica, especially now they have some experience. He doesnt have that natural raw talent that World Champions need, he is more of a driver who has steadily improved by working hard, kinda like Massa. Love to see him win it but I think there are just to many drivers who will get there before him

That's the thing though, he may not and is not the most talented driver, but he is extremely consistent. I.e. 2007 and even this year to an extent. But if he was in Heikki Kovaleinen's McLaren, and McLaren REALLY DID let their two drivers have a 50-50 chance, then i would say argubaly that Heidfeld would be winning this years Drivers Championship, he is THAT consistent. Anyway, hopefully he keeps his seat at BMW and that BMW have a REAL good car that can compete for race wins.

Webber is extremely talented and has had trouble with the teams he has been involved in. I think if the car performs well next year then he should get a win, and if this happens i think he might start being more consistent and challenge the top drivers.
As for Webber vs Vettel i think it will be a close contest

Yeh JPM was the man...absolute gun driver and was sad to see him go, especially after his last car was not suited to his driving style

Yeh he should of won it in 2003, but that US GP screwed him in the wet then dry race. Then in the Japanese race while leading he had a Hydraulics failure and Schuie managed to scramble to 8th and Barrichello won the race. But to me 2003 and 2007 have been the best seasons since i started following the sport at the start of 2002. Also with Montoya, i remember in 2002, i think he got 5 or 6 straight Pole Positions and didn't register one win, they were the days when teams could use an unlimited amount of engines and tyres each race and all. Also i would say Montoya is the best overtaker i have ever seen since i started following F1, some of the passes he made during his career were incredible.

NASCAR is so boring, i can't believe he actually hasn't considered coming back. He's a wasted talent, leaving so early.
