During the Final series the NRL play it only on Grand Final Day
& I think its the only time it should be played
if you've heard it 8 times in the past 3 weeks before grand final day... its too much
tests & origin are the only other times its played .........

i don't reckon anthems should be played at footy games except before international matches. it just seems like something that gets sung cos the game is supposed to be a representation of ur national team, not two teams that r based in the same city.

You're talking about the AFL I'm talking about the NRL .... where they only sing the national anthem on Grand Final day .... Tests & Origin. although in saying this the Storm played both national anthems last Sunday ours & NZ's ... its not the norm though.

IMO, National Anthem played at the first game of the year, usually now the GF replay i think, then every final on one condition. NO BL00DY Australian Idol wannabe's sing it, especially GF Day.
