Here we go, I have chose my team. Pretty awkward task when you only have $300.00 to spend, rough!
PG: Baron Davis SG: Ray Allen G: Vince Carter SF: Grant Hill PF: Michael Beasley F: Paul Pierce FC: Ryan Goves C: Zyndruas Ilgauskas UTL: Monte Ellis BN: Jeff Foster BN: Vladamir Radmanovic BN: Mo Williams
Who have you chosen in your teams?

gees that tam is pretty good. but a bit guard stacked, your best players PP, Ray, VC, Baron, Mo & Ellis(but he's out 4 a month). so i say trade ellis 4 big guy, to get you boards, coz Z, Vlad, Foster are good but cant be counted as top qualtiy bigs. The only one u got is beasley and we dont even no how good he's gonna go.

Cheers. Just having a look at some of the prices now. Baron Davis Raymond Felton Al Jefferson Are my first 3 players picked. Look like pretty good value for money

that's for sure, Baron Davis is a bargain at that $45, his price should only go one way, up Also Ray Allen was pretty cheap $28 I'd say those two guys would be in most peoples teams

Good side...cough Wow. Gomes, Hill & Ellis (on 1 leg). The awesomeness of this 'Big Three' is only matched by the impact you'll get off the bench with Radmanovic and Foster.

PG - T.Parker (without Ginobli, will be the main man @ the Spurs) SG - V.Carter (no Kidd, no worries) G - R.Rondo (another offseason will do him wonders) SF - A.Jamison (needs to step up now with Arenas MIA) PF - Nene (the only Nuggets player to benefit from Clippers stealing Camby, should be in line for a great season stat-wise) F - J.O'Neal (new surrondings should do wonders....hopefully) FC - G.Odon (should start on a team with big prospects) C - D.Howard (my $$ man, should put up a few 20/20 games this season) U - Mo Williams (LBJ will literally give him stats)
B - R.Stuckey (has the talent, just needs the minutes) B - E.House (his price could quadruple depending on minutes he gets) Still got $12 left over

Just out of interest, have many of you spent really big $$$ on any players?
$100 seems pretty steep even for the likes of Kobe, Lebron CP3.
usherprince I see has picked Howard in his initial lineup. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on strategy? Obviously there a plenty of good value players in the $5 - $20 price range.
Im just trying to make up my mind whether its worth basing my side around a Franchise Player like one of the aforementioned Big 3 or someone of a similar caliber, or spreading my cap out over the entire squad
Always interested in any theories on strategy, players etc. Will be good to generate some good discussion on here. Im a bit of a Fantasy Sports nut haha tend to waste way too much time on them!

I've played this game before and always have found its worth buying one expensive player who is going to get heaps of points. Like you said there are plenty of bargains under $25, so you can afford to get one $$ player and still build a good side. Though I'd personally wouldn't spend $100 on Kobe or LBJ, when Wade or.Howard will provide just as many points

i've gone with 3 players equaling 150 not sure if that will work but just throwing some ideas around atm
i've got Williams, Iverson and Davis so 55, 50 and 45. now i'm just trying to even out the rest of the list so i can afford it
