We'll see. If he doesn't get picked in the kiwi starting team I'd say under-rated. He's been injured so much it's hard to know where the powers that be currently rate him.

I still reckon all those penalties he gives away loses a lot of games. He gets saved by people like Brett Kimmorley or Luke Covall. I just don't think hes a great player buts thats my opinion.

But what about micheal luck. Top of the tackle count and playing well for the warriors. he definitly deserves more respect!

Still a great player in my eyes - hopefully will be back next season fully fit and firing. He's shown flashes of his old magic lately.

Overrated: Willie Mason
Underrated: Nathan Friend, Chris Heighington

So true. I might as well say,

Over-roosters(most of the players)

Under-Raiders(most of the players)

rofl ... it gets posted every three weeks doesn't it.

It probably gets rolled out more than it should, but the thing is that ratings change, so an update can be worthwhile.

Better than another fcuking SBW thread anyway!!!

over rated- K.Hunt - Very good player, I just don't think he is as good as people make out
C.Wing - How he was picked ahead of M.Orford in the Aussie team is the million dollar question

under rated- Tongue - Heart and soul of the raiders and doesn't get near enough recognition
Heighington - How he was left out of the top 46 is beyond me.

I've left G.Stewart out, because I thought he was under-rated until he was selected in the top 46 players in the country, now I'd say he's rated about where he should be.

Tongue is not under-rated, I do not rate him, he doesnt have an attacking bone in his body, his game relies on his defence.

They picked Wing on a number of reasons
1. Versatility (Hooker, Half, Five-Eighth)
2. Defence (One of the strongest defenders in the competition, his defensive reads are very good, as well as his one-on-one)
3. Exceptional Ball Runner (Best ball runner in the comp, his reaction of receiving a ball and putting on a step and or accelearation to break the line is just freakish)
4. International Experience, his composure and ability to perform under pressure is great.
5. Experienced Kicking Game, has played three key positions in his career, which a kicking game is involved, out of dummy half, at five-eighth and halfback.

Why they didnt pick Orford ?.
1. Stocky bloke, couldnt see him as any sort of versatile player, wouldnt be that effective at hooker and is fairly slow so not a great ball runner.
2. His individual defence isnt that flash as is much of the other halves of the competition.

Why Orford didnt get picked ahead of Cronk (who perhaps hasnt been that convincing) ?, Cronk would be invaluable with his combination with his fellow storm internationals.

Over. He does have moments of brilliance but he's injured 99% of the time.
