I think he has had his chances to win one by now. Very frustrating watching him.....
There is ALWAYS an excuse after each race....Rolling Eyes

He'll get his chance next year or the year after, I reckon.
He'll have to have the drive off his life after blitzing the qualifying AND rely on good luck and bad luck for other drivers.
But yeah, I reckon it'll happen eventually!

Next year or nothing...next year will be his best opportunity because everyone has to start with a BRAND new car...if Red Bull can develop faster than other teams (they did this year, they started the 'Shark-fin' engine cover and every team has it now) then they could be a chance to really contend at the front of the field in some races

Will only get a win if two things happen.
1 - Red Bull Racing gives him a car capable of competing with the likes of Ferrari, McLaren and BMW.
2 - Get's moved to a bigger team and plays second fiddle to the number one driver ala a Kovalinen, who will get a win here and then.

He will be that guy...a DC if you will, 2010 will be a year where he goes to the 3rd or 4th best team in 2009 in the hope that he can push their development to meet the top 2 or 3 teams and it will probably be Renault, thanks to the Fernando situation and Flavio being his manager

I really would love to see webber win a race but the only way it will happen if he does a steven bradbury. It is not his fault though formula 1 is dominated by money and the teams with the money ferrari and mclaren.

one of his main problems for him not winning a race other then the bad luck is his starting on the grid he struggles to get off and normally will lose a place or a couple of places or strugles to keep his grid place which stuffs him up a lot his gotta fix dat

Yeh he should have gone to Renault years ago but picked Williams. Thats where i've always said he ruined his career. He would have been Alonso's partner instead of Fisichella and would probably be the McLaren number 2 now instead of Kovalinen. Oh well Mark has moved on and i think considering the car his in and where Red Bull stand in the pecking order of F1, Mark had done a fantastic job and hopefully can make a move to a bigger team.

Next year we won't...still makes too many mistakes, but that will subside with experience...Vettel is a future World Champ in my eyes, give him 4 or 5 years and he will be with a big team, that is to say if Red Bull don't get to the top group of F1 before that, however unlikely that is.

If he was on a top 3 team would he be good enough to challenge for the title? How old is he?

Anyone can win an F1 race, they just need things to fall their way (anyone remember Button's win in Hungary)

But let's say here that Webber never does. This by no means makes him a bad driver in F1. Out of all the drivers whose ever driven F1, only a small percentage actually win races, fewer championships.

Its pretty obvious that how you perform in F1 is a function of your car and your ability. Luck has a big role to play too, especially in regards to what car you get in. When you enter F1, when you reach your peak, your nationality, whether or not Ron Dennis or Ross Braun likes you or not all impact on what type of car you get, which in turn impacts on whether or not you win races.

What I'm trying to say is that races are won only on part in ability. Your car does a lot of the work, and which car you get in only depends partially on your ability as well.

So, if you want to be a good F1 driver, you've got to overperform given the limits of your car (and Webber does this, if we use Coulthard as a yardstick)

Unfortunately for us Aussies, Webber knows that better than most...but to be completely honest, put in his situation at the end of 2004 i would have gone with Williams as well, i mean they had just won the last race of the season in Brazil, who knew that it was going to be their last for at least 4 or 5 seasons?

He will do what Stephen Bradbury did at 2002 winter Olympics, all other competitors will crash out and Webber will be last man standing and win race...thats his best chance.

Better to keep your mouth shut and look like a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.
