Great to hear him giving our team the respect they deserve.

I'm coming about... that game convinced me that they're in with a medal shot... if only they manage to play with that intensity when Bogut's playing.

yeah a few people have said we need that intensity all the time and somesaid it goes missing when Boguts there but i havent seen enough games with him to comment on it.
Also i hope we can get it done with Bogut in the side and also bring it.

The thing that impressed me last night how they didn't look to anyone to do the work for them. Every player committed to being a part of the whole. Now, I haven't seen that many games with Bogut playing, but it seems to me that they defer a little more to him than they should. They seemed to be playing with more intensity with him sitting.
I'd appreciate hearing more opinions on that... as I said - haven't seen a helluva lot of games with the whole squad playing.

If they can play that same style but replacing a softer center like Anderson with a Physical 5 like Bogut then we could push any team and be competitive...

we would be more of a threat if we had Jawai playing to go with bogut

Not yet, He needs more time to develop his game in the US under Bosh and O'Neal then he can bring that into the skills he had playing in the NBL (Similar to FIBA) and be a force at the 4 for Australia when Neilson (Who wasn't that impressive last night) is done...

In Japan the complacency showed, as did the dependance on Bogut and Bruton.

The other day, everyone just wanted to relish the challenge!!!

The Argentina match showed our strengths and our weaknesses- we can play well with the worlds elite, and we play best under the pump BUT we cannot hold leads. For me this is a psychological thing- I think the team expects the Boguts/Brutons to carry the load at that point. This was definitely the case in Japan.

Since then I haven't seen many games with Bogut in there but I think the USA game will serve the teams confidence in their chemistry and that could snowball into a good thing...
