How AWESOME were the old Jam games? I heard they may be making a new one for the next-gen consoles, but are keeping the old-school gameplay.

Oh yeah, I loved the old NBA Jams!

Great news if true. I hate the newer incarnates of Live and 2K. They're more realistic, but I don't have the patience to sit around to learn all the controls and naunces.

I'm a fan of Live but only for the simplicity of the controls and graphics but I'm seriously thinking of making the switch... The gameplay is becoming rather annoying...

yehh i really liked the first street, but it got a bit repetitive with volume 2 and 3 and homecourt although they were still pretty fun.

I like the old school feel of 2 and home court was fun too... they are rental games not purchase games...

You all know that NBA Jam was based on the Sean Marks. All of that stuff is actual things Sean Marks can do on a basketball court.

Reggie Miller was a machine from downtown and was well supported by Rik Smits Laughing

Remember "He's on fire" and the ball had a flame on the end of it and burnt the net Laughing

**foaming at the mouth**

My keyboard is sticky looking at that.

That would be sick, but better than just a standard Nintendo 64 controller??

Oh no!

You all make me cry!

NBA Jam was horrible in comparison to NBA Hangtime on Nintendo 64. That was, without a shadow of a doubt the best game on any console, EVER!
