Please do come up with a reason that Allen was better than KG in the finals though. Seriously.

And, little man, they would have lost without KG's defence. Good offence starts with great defence. You have to look at basketball from more than just who scores the points which is all that Allen did (and didn't even score much more than KG). KG was massive on the boards through out the whole series and even though he had lapses on the offensive end for periods in the finals, in my opinion he was still better than Allen, and they WOULDN'T have won without KG playing in those finals, no way. As for Ray Allen not playing? ehhhhh there was still a possibility of them winning. I think you're hyping up how good Allen was in the finals purely compared to how ***** he was in the playoffs as a whole.
Little man? F*ck me, but look who has tickets on himself! IF you'd actually watched the games - you'd have noted that Kevin Garnett was an absolute BEAST in most first quarters, and then seemed to slide down a bit for the rest of the game. But yet again - WHATEVER... nothing I say will change your mind. Pointless argument. Patrick Mills thread...

Oh, was that it? Thought you might have had something a little stronger to back up your argument that's all ha. Fair enough then "he was there for every game", jeez i'd hope so. I guess we'll agree to disagree.

Well... Pierce wasn't (there for every game). And wait... you say 'because' and that's a stronger argument? Wow... simply wow. Again, appropriate thread please.

What... calling someone 'little man' on a forum isn't an attempt at derision? Get a clue winnaz. And please, if you'd like to work this tête-à-tête more, how about you send me PMs? This is a discussion on Patrick Mills, best we don't sully it more.

Craig I dont think anyone here actually said "Based on this ONE performance, he should be in the NBA". The whole series thus far has been good for Mills, we also made light of the fact of how well he's been playing in College.
Shouldnt u be starting another Anti-NBL thread?
what's the point we already know the nbl is on it's death bed

Oh please, it was a TOTAL aside. You had no issue jumping in... get off your high-horse. Nothing particularly exciting in SI.com, or ESPN Insider on Mills... Some other bits on Mills: "Eventually coach Brian Goorjian made the decision to bring in 19 year old Patrick Mills for a change of pace at the point and he did not disappoint. Mills' speed certainly took away from one of Team USA's strengths and he did surprise them en route to the basket on more than one occasion." - A Stern Warning

Do you even know what the phrase, "high horse" means? I've not been guilty of double-standards at all. winnaz wrote:

Woo hoo hoo, so you've gone from accusing me of being on my high-horse to bragging now too? Bringing out the big guns by pasting threads.. from completely different websites too! Do you have a job? Or is this it, you just sit on chatsites all day showing off your vast sports knowledge? malice, you get up on your soap box all the time mate, always correcting other peoples opinions because you think you know it all. Whether you do or don't, it's an open forum, you don't need to constantly try to disprove other people because you're the sports god of sportal.
