Richards for 5.5, or Luke young for 4.5. Pretty solid midfield, but I've heard rumours that Petrov is injured. Should try to use the bonus from selving carval to upgrade boateng. Also, not a fan of Kranjcar, but at 6.5 if you want him, have him. Solid strikers obviously 7.5/10

Hey guys just got back from vacation and saw that I had two red squares (Fabregas and Benjani) and a yellow one (Bosingwa)!
I was thinking about making a switch that would have let me get Fabregas back easily after 2-3 weeks (or however long), but I decided to do a slight revamp:
Cech (Schwarzer)
Richards Clichy Brown Carragher (Meite)
Modric Downing Petrov Young (Barmby)
Torres Santa Cruz (Moore)
I think that I have a great striker duo, but I don't have the star that I would have liked to have in midfield (Gerrard, Lampard, etc.). I still think that it is solid though. I have a decent back five (counting Cech), with four of them being from the "Big Four" teams, and I though Richards was a steal at 5.5, so I had to pick him up...
Comments, tips, and ratings would be great.

Your back four is good, but I would switch Campbell considering they have some pretty tough starting fixtures... Also, if you haven't heard, Fabregas is probably going to be out for a few weeks because of a hamstring injury...

Hmmm, what you could do to free up some cash would be to downgrade Ferdinand to Brown (1.0 less), and also downgrade Osman (6.0) to someone a little less expensive. He's a great player, but in my opinion cost too much to just sit on your bench. Some options here could be a 4.5 (Hamann or Barmby), or a 5/5.5 (Reo-Coker/Ireland, Dempsey). If you could free up another 0.5 (and do the downgrades I was talking about), you could get Lampard or free up 1.0 and get Gerrard (instead of O'Hara)! Hope this helped/made sense! Cheers

Can anyone tell me who the likely starting defenders for Aston Villa will be?
Basically I want to know if Knight or Luke Young will start.
I'm assuming Laursen and Cuellar will definitely be in there.

ok fair enough, yeh ive figured out a way to do it. i think your side is fine, just keep denilson IMO. what do you think of mine? im very happy with it. Okay, I took your advice and dropped Carvalho for Young. Has anyone else heard whether or not Petrov is injured? To play it safe I swapped him for Young. I couldn't find anyone I was really happy with to upgrade Boateng so I ended up going with Davies. And for the same reason I kept Kranjcar. So this is my team so far; Alumina, (Schwarzer) Ferdinand, Laursen, Carragher, Gallas, (Young) Bentley, Young, Essien, Kranjcar, (Davies) Berbatov, Yakubu, (Windass)

good backs even though i think swap a.cole for carvalho cuz i dont rate a.cole but thats my opinion. barry and a. young are well you cant really seperate them. Kranjcar im still unsure why you have him in there since port have such a horrible run for the first 4 weeks or so. other than that its all good. I think personaly we are both taking a risk on Johnson and Ballack i dont even know if he will start. im still undesided on what im going to do i dont know if denilson will play for very long but 3-4 weeks is pretty long so im just going to go with what i have and see how i go.

ok got a interesting question.. heard that berba is almost certain to going to man united and most likely be running on the field with manchester united for satdys game.. now if i have bought berbatrov in sportal and it says he plays for totenham! and he actually plays for man u on game day.. will i still get points for berbatrov.. cause i dont know if sportal would update that quickly? just sumfen i was thinking about? any thoughts??

No reason why you shouldn't receive the points.
I think during the season, if a players sign with another club within the premier league they update the club when they post the results for that week.
I notice that Andy Johnson is still with Everton as well, didn't he sign with Fulham.
On your captain, I probably would go with Berbatov, proven goal scorer, and Man Utd play Newcastle @ Old Trafford. Will be very prominent in attack for them.
