Should I get Adebeyor????

VP might not start as he is out of form from injury last year
(walcott looking for a starting spot)
and being that he just signed a new contract he is the fan favorite.

We vs West brom, Fulham, Sunderland, Hull, Blackburn (h)
in the first 5 weeks.
He will definately score at least three times.

He is 11
but torress is 12 rooney 11 drogba 10

I dont rate santacruz so dont even state it as he doesnt score as consistant as the big stars.

Also totenham have a difficult run so im reluctant to get berbatov - if he moves to man u he may not
start straight away and misses gameweek 3.

My other forwards are Yakubo and Ashton

check out the stats on forwards, and attacking mids.

http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/premierleague/stats?table=offensive&stat=shots

anelka has a shot every 15 mins, scoring 4 against milan recently, and drogba being injured at the moment, will be the main focus point of chelsea. priced at 9.5.

santa cruz and keane have good efficiency. santa cruz might get less chances this year, keane will probably have more assists than goals this year.

bentley also look good for midfield at a value of 8, having a lot of shots and crosses. (if starting)

I will def consider RvP if he is starting. Do you guys think we can get the line-ups for Arsenal before the deadline, since it's the earlier game?

and also check out d.bent, having a good pre-season. 8-9 goals so far. since keane left and berbatov might be leaving, he will get some goals this year, priced at 7.5

there is a lot more to consider looking at these stats. let me know what you guys think.

not a fan of Everton but i suddenly found my team with 3 of them!!!

Jaaskelainen
Gallas Neville Hyypia Upson
Young Gerrard Fabregas Osman
Yakubu Bent

Bench:
Cech Kitson Scharner Hamann

I think Port will snag a goal against chelsea thats why i dont have Cech starting.

if he scores 4 goals in first 5 weeks(he usually doesn't get many assists), and he will get close to 2 bonus points average, 10(starts)+16(goals)+9(bonus) = 35 points. divide that by his price 35/11 = 3.18(value)

a defender like clichy will probably get 3 clean sheets out of these 5 games. 10+9(cs)+4(b) = 23/6.5 =3.53(value)
or ashton with 3 goals will have the same results as clichy.

this makes clichy or ashton more valuable than ade. I am just guessing of course, ade has the potential to double that, clichy or ashton's point will be limited. this is my basis when I pick a player. and you usually get more bonus if you score winning goals.

if RvP plays all 5 games, he should get more goal+assists total than ade, at 9.5 he will be a better pick. but when was the last time he played 5 in row Rolling Eyes

same goes for torres - keane double, torres scores more with 12mil tag, keane gets assists with less goals, priced at 9, but who knows if he will be playing consistently.

rooney and drogba aren't starting. berbatov unclear.

and read my other post about other stuff... hope that helps.

by the way arsenal has another six weeks without a top opponent, including hull and stoke. he definitely won't disappoint if you have the money to spend. I would keep three arsenal players in the first couple of months

Great midfield and attack

defence is questionable...clichy is good and should get a lot of points...campbell should do ok...as long as pompey don't leak goals...corluka will be all right...but I'd be very cautious about neil...west ham won't get many clean sheets and knowing neil...he will get injured or get some red cards...could even do both in several games lol

My team as followed:

A.Cole Toure Knight Bosingwa
Gerrard Fabergras Young Reo-*****er

Any other sugestions about my team?
Cheers

Arsenal Hoyte?

If so, don't bother, he won't play much if at all

I would probably choose woodgate, but he is also very injury prone...

I would personally slightly downgrade one of ur mids or torres and upgrad the defence a fair bit

This is my first year playing this so I had a couple of questions.

---------------------Alumunia

------------Lescott - clichy - Laursen

Davies - Gerrard (C) - Riga - Petrov - Kranjcar

------------------Anelka - Bent

Jaaskelainen - Wheater - Shawcross - Kitson

Firstly - reckon this squad will go alright?
Will my lack of the big 4 come and bite me in the end?
Is anyone here glaringly bad? (And I'll be trading Bent out for Carew if Berb isn't traded. Very Happy)

any ideas? Very Happy
Cheers.

I'm planning on him at the moment, however, you'll need to keep an eye on this development.

flick riga, anelka and laursen if you can for big 4 that you can fit in. personally id go 4-4-2 as you can then have a better defence than currently your midfield

But don't the midfielders have a higher potential to score more points?
