thought id start this thread up nice and early so people can get there thoughts across. Based on sydney trial form and knowing players ability, id have to say that katone ale will come close to being first pick. his running, ball skills and his ability to steal the ball at rucks is absolutely phenomenal. Will definately be picked up by a super 14 side for next year. dominated the joeys pack a couple of weeks ago and held the game together for his whole side. thoughts and other selections??????

yeah mate its pretty tight up here. got a number of schools that have very good players. ahh probs dom shipperly, elih baillie and stephano hunt from nudgee (even though i think he is very overrated). nick buchanan from terrace is very dominant and a wild card could be liam gill from terrace, but he is in year 11 so i would look out for him next year.

dont know too much about the other schools though, but tss look to have a few good players, as well as state high

ive heard keiran tully's name thrown about as a shock selection... maybe for the australia a's though. started the season at 8 and is now playing second row. hard on the ball, big bloke and is pretty tough. would be surprised if he actually made it, but he should definitely play qld 1's

tyler spitz goes to westfields... he plays any position in the backline. lacks a little speed for out wide but his defense is outstanding.
Tim bennetts goes to pennatt hills HS. the 2 of them clashed in the colts last weekend, both were playing 13 and tyler took the money, tim didnt get one line break
