BBC and Cardiff say Arsenal have signed Aaron Ramsey http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/cardiff_city/7445528.stmhttp://www.cardiffcityfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10335~1325841,00.html Good stuff, it's not like we haven't got enough young guns, but it would be sad to see him score against us for United in 4 years time now wouldn't it?

That's another awesome young Welsh lad who picked London over Manchester.
I know for a fact that United were fuming that Gareth Bale opted to pass them up and signed on with Spurs.

haha, funny you should mention that. Steve Bull our club legend and greatest ever goalscorer started his career at West Brom. Mind you he was a squad player and was only worth 25,000 pounds and we were two leagues apart at that time. there have been a few players that have done it. Like Bull, Cyrille Regis played for Wolves. Usually though it's either at the start or the end of their careers, never from one club to the other. The major names to have done it are Steve Bull, Robbie Dennison, Don Goodman, Bobby Gould, Andy Gray, Cyrille Regis, Jason Roberts, Ally Robertson and Andy Thompson. To compare it to a modern day player, think of the stick that Kenny Miller will cop when he goes back to Rangers, having started with them, going to Celtic and then returning to Rangers. That's what it would be like.

good for them, bad for us. we've now lost 3 handy attacking players and have made a grand total of 0 signings. dean ashton opted to stay at west ham, gomis is staying at st. etienne and gary madine has chosen carlisle - carlisle for chrissakes! sadly i can't see a better 2008-09 for newcastle...

i wasnt expecting to see us sign Ramsey so im quite pleased, cuz he looked quite good in the FA cup final. tho it will be interesting to see whether he could cut it in the premiership/champions league playing for the greatest team in the world!!
