Wenger's confirmed interest in signing Nasri which is great news for Arsenal fans. There were rumours about us signing him but to hear Wenger say he's interested is definitely reassuring. Wenger's also said that he doesn't plan to "try and sign" Nasri before Euro 2008 however.

tabloids you mean? this is what Wenger has officially stated: Quote:“Nasri, he interests me,” Wenger told RMC.
“I hope I will do it after the Euros."
“It is more complicated now because the wage differences [between the French and the English league] are not as big as they used to be."

From what I've read, the only thing holding up Nasri's signing is that he's yet to take a medical.

Adelaide sign defender Jamieson June 06, 2008 FORMER Bolton Wanderers defender Scott Jamieson has signed with Adelaide United.
The 19-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Adelaide after spending the past three years with the Barclays Premier League club.
Jamieson made four appearances for Bolton's first team during the club's pre-season campaigns in 2006-07 and 2007-08, but most of his time was spent in Bolton's reserves and academy sides.
“For 19 years of age, Scott has played a lot of games, and after not getting a lot of first team football in England he decided to come back to Australia and we think he will fit in well at Adelaide United,” Reds coach Aurelio Vidmar said.

Fulham have signed Zoltan Gera from the Baggies. Gera rejected a deal from West Brom (he was pivotal in their promotion) to sign with the london club. i wonder which club will go better next season? West Brom have a decent squad with a few additions to make, like replacing Gera getting another striker etc. Fulham will need to replace Mcbride and offload some players that dont want to be there. Retaining Bullard and Simon Davies is crucial to their next season http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=544658&cc=3436

We struggled to score goals for much of last season, partly due to a lack of striking quality, but also a dearth of opportunities in many games. Hopefully this signing can help rectify that! And I agree about bullard and simon davies, davies was probably our best player over the course of the season, as well as konchesky, who we absolutely need to retain. Things could be looking good at the cottage next season guys!!
