WELL I HAVE HEARD IT ALL NOW......
Suddenly HarryKay has been injured ( STRANGE THAT ) she has been plugging us with the " not enough suitable races for HarryKay" and now we are fed this dribble about him being injured.

Monday, 2 June 2008 - Update - 2/6/2008

Harrykay managed to injure himself in trackwork last weekend and will have to go for a spell.

The injury is to one of his front fetlock joints. It will not require surgery, just some treatment with a lotion and a spell and we'll monitor his progress over the next month before deciding upon when he can return to work.

Naturally we want to ensure he is a 100% before we put him back into trainig and we are unsure at this stage as to how long he will need for the joint to settle down completely.

Unfortunately Paw the Drinks has also shown futher signs of immaturity and is not ready for the races just yet. He will also return to the spelling paddock.

On the brighter side we are hoping that Purrfect Dancer can return to training within the next couple of weeks and Majestic Gem not long after that and I will have reports on their progress in the next update.

I have never HEARD of a stable that has so many fetlock injuries....
SOME PLEASE TELL ME OTHERWISE........

1) is it the fact that she couldnt be bothered putting HarryKay in midweek/ weekend metro races?

2) OR the fact she wants to get Harry Kays sisters syndicate priority over ours because its WORTH HER WHILE..

3) Suddenly not finding races made it JUST TO HARD FOR HER so maybe a FETLOCK injury that only needs lotion will do the trick while she gets HarryKays sister up and running at the expense of CW #3 Members.

4) The only person that needs lotion here is Kim n Mark Waugh and Roulston for their greasy palms that keep skimping money off hard working battlers with faith and hope in their hearts.

SHAME FOR THE RORT THAT IS CLUB WAUGH SYNDICATIONS #1, #2, #3

If the horse is still immature in Paw the Drinks I wonder how much time she has invested in making him MATURE.

Makes my blood boil and I will not stop bringing this to the attention of the public, punters, and journos.

I refused to give him any more money, anyway what on earth could he update it with ? Cant even update the website, this week we are just advised that Harrykays sister has been sold... BIG DEAL - no interest to us, no other info - but thats typical.

Worst 55 cents ever spent today on this hotline.

Mark Waugh apologised for putting harrykay info in our members page and said nothing to report on the horses. Thats it

Oh, what about Kelandria getting racing, the sale of bumpa, the termination of the company etc etc.

Heres hoping against the directors resolutions, but is prob rigged, knowing what we all know now

Just a note. Have joined Darby Racing. Have been financial for 15 days and have received 11 emails including video links of training/ spelling etc. Is run by Scott Darby who gives you HIS mobile and landline numbers. Have called him 5 times for which he answered 4 times. On the 5th occasion he returned my call 25mins later. On each occasion he was very easy to communicate with and we spoke freely about all aspects of his operation and the horses. He answered all my questions spontaneously and definitely gave no promises to the level of success we might acheive with the horses. His equine stock are all very well bred and he uses Gerald Ryan or Clarrie Conners to train and race them. DEFINITELY WORTH A LOOK!

Hi NoMoreWaughs Smile, that is so good to hear. How professional does Darby Racing sound? We even have to buy our video ( I watch it in the evenings when HarryKay Races) on TVN .. on recap days. Gerald Ryan and Clarry Connors are sound trainers bar none, very professional, very astute, you are on a winner.
The racing industry is a fickle business at the best of times I know, but you have two of the best trainers gunning in your corner and I use the word professional boldly here.
Not some dodgy outfit. I wish you well and hope your horsey wins.

Funny, horses injured, thats exactly how I felt, we were being pushed aside - sorry Aussiegal - when Harry started winning. All our horses were either injured, or needed a spell after 2 races, or immature, heard it all before..... Harrys Sister is now the most important horse.

Well said, I hadnt thought about the money that "should have been there !!!" I want what is due to us, and NEVER ever want to hear from them again. Good luck you guys with Harry, not your fault, but just beware. Should we ask to see exactly what is in the "almost exhausted funds??" Wonder what we would get, more garbage. What a waste of Bumpa

I AGREE: I am the so called "narc" who complained to Racing NSW and (at its recommendation) to ASIC about the behaviour of the Directors in the purchase of Scooter. Then to the Daily Telegraph. Kim Waugh bought the horse for $11000 and a few weeks later Mark and his father Roger sold it to the No 2 Syndicate for $28,000. The horse was later sold unraced for $750. The syndicate originally promised to own two horses and lease up to four more. However the end result is that we have had but one horse get to the races. Bumpa. Scooter and King Armstrong both failed to compete, notwithstanding the various "news" items about the promising way they were progressing. They were both sold at a considerable loss. Now we have Kelendria, ready to go and the directors say that we should flog Bumpa and direct the proceeds back into the preparation of Kelendria.
Personally I have had enough. The syndicate has delivered on only 15 percent of its promise. Why would anything they did in the future be any better. Incidentally the "Voting Paper" which came with the 20 May letter recommending the aforementioned course of action is invalid. If you tick either box you are effectively giving the directors the right to do anything. There is no indication of what resolution you might be rejecting or approving, nor is there any date on the paper ... so who knows what you are voting for? So amateurish its not funny.

Good for you, Scott Darby is one of good guys, always makes time for his clients & prospective clients. He helped me out when I was getting my syndicators licence when he could have done what a lot of others did and completely ignore me. He has a very good idea about what it takes to syndicate very good racing prospects.

Which horse did you get into?

I joined his partnership #1 venture. Basically it is a 20 share partnership which has interest in 6 horses ranging from 5% to 15%. A little more affordable(monthly $77) and chances are that at any given time I should have atleast one horse in work/racing. Its quite a clever little venture. By forming this Scott has made it affordable to those of us who can't quite justify $10,000 to $15,000 upfront and $130 to $260 a month. Secondly, Scott has managed to sell more %'s of his equine assets. The cost to me was $4990 upfront and $77 per month to have a share (albeit small) in 6 quality horses. I'm looking forward to 'the ride'. Just to let you all know Darby are now offering partnership #2.

Hi Faytiges,
I agree Harrys sister is the main thing now. Small shares at probably $10,000 ( roughly I did not check prospectus but assuming ) so why should the small CW Syndications be important. She wants to get her training off the ground and this is how she will do it. We are pushed aside and the *Harry has hurt his fetlock and it only needs lotion* just does not gel ( pardon the pun ) with me. She is so transparent its not funny.
Bernadino, glad to have you on board, I read the whole debarcle and how they called you a *pain in the bum* and at least you got your day in the Telegraph. You knew what was happening and the indiscrepancys and you were asking questions, THEY DIDNT LIKE THAT.....
I found this blog via Google and its pretty bold on the page and started to read all that was going on in the CW Syndications #1, #2, #3. We are all trying to make noise and bring attention that is CW rip off. They are thinking about number #4 next year. If we can make enough noise and make people aware of the dodgy unprofessional syndication we have done our job.
Its a shame The Fangsta, Bumpa, HarryKay and Magestic Gem, Paw the drinks ( immature since the inseption and still so ) and what was being done to undo this problem??????? also the Grey Purrfect Dancer... If you look at the webpage the horse looks like a statue lol*... my friend pointed this out.... lol...
He said: are you sure this is yours and not in a museum? LOL* Very Happy
Anyway, Bernadino I would love to hear more about what happened once you started to open the can of worms with the Telegraph and who interviewed you etc.
I sent along an email to speak to a writer from there, and am still waiting.

I am a mad punter, and can't wait till I one day own a race horse, well, a sydnicated one anyway.

I have just read all 8 pages of this thread and I can't believe the amatuerish way that CW run their operation.

I'm with Chad, get yourselves together and form a Class Action against these fraudsters.

I hope it turns out for the best for the members of Club Waugh racing.

Lets toss the 'directors' resolution (ie. sell Bumpa to finance the continuation of FEEDING/HOUSING Kelendria) where it belongs, and raise a shareholders resolution.... to sell Bumpa to finance a legal probe into the fiasco known as Club Waugh #2. Not that we should have to sell Bumpa to finance this as there should be residual funds left from Scooter's and King Armstrong's early exit and their subsequent 'sale'(JOKE). That is unless Kelendria's lease is so ludicrous that we are...in fact...broke???? I could put this down to a learning experience but blow that, I'm just P.I.S.S.E.D.

I can't wait for it either. Was thinking about heading out to the track but not with this weather. I'll probably go down to the local and have a couple of bets on the Stradbroke and associated races there. Black Ink's my roughy for the Stradbroke.

DEAR AUSSIEGAL05: I raised the Scooter issue at the first AGM. I asked from whence the horse had come. Robert Roulston told me at that forum that I had no need to know. "End of story," he added. I disagreed. My subsequent inquiries showed that Kim Waugh had bought the horse at the Scone sales for $11000. Mark Waugh and his father Roger then sold it to the No 2 Syndicate a few weeks later for $28,000. Robert Roulston said he had revalued it as a professional bloodstock agent to that amount (which coincided with the surplus in the purchasing fund). He added that Mark Waugh had actually wanted more than that. I complained to Racing NSW which referred me - and the matter - to ASIC because it said that the syndicate was registered (with its Prospectus) by that organisation. (I would be happy to share the correspondence on this matter with other syndicate members, together with my Aide Memoire of the first, sparesely attended, AGM). The Daily Telegraph published the story about the issue, written by Janet Fife-Yeomans, on 12 December 2006. In it Kim Waugh was quoted as saying: "All my club members are very nice people and we have hundreds of them and they come to functions and they are more than happy. We have this one nark." It is difficult to reconcile her view with the complaints that have been building on this website (of which I was unaware until a few days ago).

Meanwhile I have written to Robert Roulston by email regarding the latest proposed directors' resolution, pointing out that the voting form is invalid because it does not mention what we are voting on, and is not dated. I have also asked him to provide a detailed account of how much money remains in the syndicate account so that we might may an informed decision. In addition I have pointed out that funding Kelendria's career is hardly a sound proposition for us because if the horse is no good we gain nothing, and if it is, it gets returned to the owner with increased value for breeding. I have also asked Mr Roulston to provide more information about the latest AGM, including how many people attended. I have also asked for the Minutes of that meeting. As shareholders we are not only entitled to - but require -that information. Otherwise we might think that our only role in the syndicate is to provide the finance. So far there is no evidence that we can expect any return. Incidentally I have received no reply yet from Mr Roulston.
