hopkins lost i think the left hook to the nuts in the tenth took its effect, hopkins knocked him down in the first round but joe came back late in the fight to win on points ,i hope they have a rematch i think hopkins would knock his ass out in a rematch with no groin punch so late in the fight?

What a very astute judge of a boxer you are, what's that now 45-0 and it's about time someone gave Hopkins
a dose of his own medicine, how anyone can call it a knockdown instead of a slip in the first round jeez you guy's gotta open your eyes when you watch a fight.
Talk of match against Jones , and the dollar will tempt him into it.
Joe's not a great technician but he is a s*****per and it's about time he wasa getting the big payday's.
Not many boxer's have got a better record than Joe,if any,but Hopkins said he'd never lose to white guy well
Bernard you just got beat by Joe's lilly white ar5e.

couldnt have said it better duncan i hope people can now see just how good this guy is 45 -0...To be honest he really doesnt have anyone left to fight Jones is good for a payday but he is way past is prime...Clearly P4P number 2 with this fight

Yep,
the english are good at the low blows in the latter rounds, ala ricky hatton on Tsyu - although Hattons was a 1000 times more deliberate and dirty than Calzaghes.

Calzaghe throws a lot of punches and even better, connects with a large percentage of them. If you connect with more punches you will usually win. Calzaghe 33% v Hopkins 27%

yeh the english are known for that....i will stand by what i said earlier if hopkins was 5 years younger he would have beaten him without a doubt age caught up with him in the later rounds

Retirement. How good is his body for a 43 year old man.

Calzaghe next opponents most likely are Jones Jr Pavlik.

roy jones vs calzaghe would be just like hopkins vs calzaghe....jones of 5 years ago would destroy calzaghe but jones is getting on a bit...however id rather see him fight calzaghe than de la hoya...

a good fight would be mayweather vs calzaghe at a catch weight

Now your talking Mayweather v Calzaghe would be good i think it would show Joe up a bit,i keep forgetting how old some of these fighters have become, heck i been following them since i was 15 im 32 now??
We need fresh faces ,Mayweather is a gun, like we said before we need a real heavy weight some one brutal and hard to replace,Tyson ,Lewis,Holyfield?
How do you reckon Mundine would fair against Joe Calzaghe,Mundine is no slouch and hes traing with jones snr???
