OK guys, for Football Manager 08 only...who is your favourite player? The one you secretly always want to get a better match rating than everybody else. The one who can make you get over a loss provided they at least played well...
I'd have to say that Lulinha would be up there, as well as Vela and a regen in my game called Saez.
I also think that you always have a soft spot for any player that you personally sign, as opposed to players that were already at a club, as their performances are almost a reflection on yourself.

Yeh, I'm the same with Aguero...I will sign him in every game i start (with chelsea...no other games i start have enough money...like hull)
But i could lose a game 8-3 as long as aguero got the hattrick lol...In my chelsea game of 11 years, aguero has been top goalscorer every year but one (where he was injured for 6 months) and he is chelsea's greatest ever scorer and i didn't actually purchase him till he was 23 or 24...so he has only been there for like 7 years or something.

I seriously cant wait for FM 2009, but at the same time I really dont wanna give up my 08 game, cos I have a host of young players that are slowly improving and I wanna see em make the first team.
Tough choices ahead eh...
Might have to play both, but I dont enjoy that much.

I am actually enjoying FIFA 08 more at the moment.
I am playing as Swansea (on FIFA and FM) and I get carved up on FM (injuries have destroyed me) but on FIFA I just got promoted. Also on FIFA, since it is easier to buy players I got Veloso and Navas.
