Career goalkicking accuracy 60.9 - Franklin 59.31 - Rocca 55.5 - Roughead 53.8 - Boyle

Interestingly enough Rocca's accuracy since 2004 is 63.3% so since Franklin has been playing Rocca has been a more accurate kick which indicates the improvement I spoke of. This thread developed from your claim Rocca couldn't kick.
2008 Stats CLOKE 100.0 ROCCA 85.7 FRANKLIN 75.0 ROUGHEAD 50.0 BOYLE 50.0

As I said before, I never stated that Franklin was a more accurate kick. What I have stated is that Rocca is not a particularly accurate kick, and have also stated that Hawthorn's forwards are not particularly accurate either. Rocca's goalkicking accuracy has impoved by all 4% in recent seasons. Not a dramatic improvement, and that was part of my point about not being able to teach old dogs new tricks. He can't be expected to be much more accurate than that after all these years, but an experienced, highly regarded super-boot such as Rocca should be kicking straighter across his career. Buddy, Cloke and Roughy can be excused to a degree because they are still new kids on the block, and have plenty of time to improve. Stats for 2008 are ridiculous at this point, as each side has played once. How are those stats in any way useful???

Good call!!! That'll be fun. Don't get me wrong, I rate the Pies forward line highly - as do I rate the Pies highly overall - but just not as highly as the Hawks (of course, hehehehe!!!)

If we keep playing this way, we can exceed expectations. It’s a matter of keeping our feet on the ground and remembering to work hard. I reckon we lost sight of our work ethic in the first quarter against North Melbourne, but once we started working hard in the second we starting creating opportunities. At our best, our work ethic is as good as any other side in the caper.

Progressing interestingly thus far. Could see Roughy and Buddy only kicking a few each this week at Aurora, so a good chance for Cloke and Rocca to make some headway against The Blues' poor defence.
