I was tipping Freo to have a good year.. but if they can't beat Collingwood then they will struggle. Hawks are going to make a few teams look ordinary this year.

Are you sure?
Collingwood Average Score 2007: 91.4
Hawthorn Average Score 2007: 95.3 I think you'd find that has more to do with your midfield rather than your forwards themselves. Our inside 50's to goal ratio is higher than yours. In 2006 we had the highest scoring team in the competition. Don't get me wrong, Hawthorn do have a very good forward line. But it's not as good as Collingwoods.

Franklin.... who else?
Franklin is a superstar, better than anyone in Collingwoods forward line.
But apart from that.. nothing much. At all.

But apart from that.. nothing much. At all. Ok then. Boyle, Williams, Roughead, Rioli, Dew, Stokes, Hodge, Bateman will all kick about a goal a week. Then there is a possibility of Crawf, Taylor, Cambell, Guerra getting the odd goal then if Buddy plays consistently we will easily be kicking close to 17-20 goals a week. Better than most teams from any era or season.

Against the grumpy old men? Nah, easy pickings. Wait till they play St. Kilda, Geelong or West Coast - will show where they are at

We generally play pretty well against these sides.... Beat them all last year. Adelaide, Sydney and the Kangas are the games that will give us a real indication IMO
