I think the Hawks could be drawing the short straw here this year, the winner of Geelong V St.Kilda plays either the Swans or Bulldogs in a preliminary final. The loser will easily account for Collingwood next week and then play Hawthorn in a preliminary final. Both Geelong and St. Kilda have beaten the Hawks this year!! Mmmm the Hawks aren't there yet!

Only because our boys mentally went home at half time.
They will not switch off during the final.

Bring on St Kilda

Saints are lucky to be where they are and I'm willing to put money on them bowing out in straight sets. Collingwood are erratic in the h&a season but always bring their A game during finals so I expect them to touch up a demoralised saints squad having been handed a belting by the cats. this would make for a hawks v pies prelim and we've won our last three against them, and quite convincingly too so i'd back our boys to get up. in the unlikely event that the saints beat collingwood, i'd still tip hawthorn because the saints are pretenders and despite our loss to them earlier in the season, the same scenario played out against the dogs and now that we've got a full squad up and running the saints wont have a chance

We can't afford to wasted as many easy chances as we did Friday night. 18.19 and 3 or 4 on the full isn't good enough

We were good enough on Friday night to beat anyone. If we play that well twice more this year, we can take the cup. We will waste chances in every game we play. That's part of the way we play. Every side wastes some chances, we waste a few more than most. As long as we create more chances than our opponents do, we'll be fine. I'm not worried about a few missed chances.

We played well enough to beat nearly everyone but if we waste chances against geelong they will make us pay, like they did in round 17

No doubt it won't help, but we will have to create more chances than they create because we will waste some chances. It's the way we play. Buddy & Roughy both miss chances in front of the sticks, and they are not alone. We need to win the midfield and create more chances than Geelong create, and we can win. Geelong are not unbeatable, they do make mistakes.
