Yeah cheers taa...great prelim final that. The pseudo grand final and was a lottery who won. Was fun after being pi$$ed off at the start..gave them all about a 1850pt head start (conservative rnd 1 score) and caught most except u. Ranking finished 3753 but if i add the first rnd 1850 to get a rough guide i get 43529pts which must be a fairly similar rank...about 210th or so...just behind u i reckon Had a horror finish in SC and blew up over the last 4-6 weeks but thems the breaks. This will be a new story altogether next yr..need to evolve and learn from this yr to improve. Need to factor in lots of changes that showed up from this yr. Daggers mentioned something about a handicap system next yr...so i;m claiming the 3753 ranking

This is my 3rd year doing DT and i have improved from 5000 odd, to 1000 odd to 208 this year. Will be aiming top 100 next year! It looks like shifty was talking ***** with his 7 trades and heap of cash story about 5 weeks ago. It seems he was lucky to make it so far with no trades left. Whats this handicapping system??? Doesnt sound good for me!!

Yeah thats good for 3rd yr at it..better and better. I'm actually getting worse at it i reckon lol. Finished 85th a few yrs ago after being a solid chance half way...then in the 500's the following yr then even worse last yr. Now i can claim a mighty 3700th or so Yeah Shifty was fulloshyt and he deserves to cop some flak over it Sucked me in tho i gotta say. Never once thought he was stoogeing. He was never in hunt even with 2 more trades tho Only kiddding about the handicapping thing...i remember someone threw it out there as an option to heat it up but likely have the same format but 2 leagues next yr. ...AND i'm coaching Redfloyd. Thats 2 spoons in a row and its bloody embarassing for the Swannies. Might even have a "club" teams comp next yr as well...just another idea to consider.

I missed round 1 due to the freezeout and finished with 40,268 - ranked 12,814.
If round 1 was counted and I got around 1,850 I would've ranked in the 2,300's.

Spitzers Call Girl finished a disappointing 3094th with 41857. Had my chances, but several costly trades hurt me alot.
We need to work on closing the gap at the top. The total points gap between 1st and 2nd was massive, as were the gaps between 2nd and 3rd and 3rd and 4th. The total points went:
T-Man - 43531
Shiftys XVIII - 43020
Seethebombersflyup - 42421
Myself - 41857
If we all aim for 43000+ next year, it will be MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All 4 of the guys in the prelims were well and truly on top 500 pace for most of the yr and barring a cpl down the bottom it would have probably been ranked a top 20 league. So it was a pretty decent standard. The ring in from the freezeout hurt the league ranking a lot of course. Should be a pretty strong thing next season with a cpl of creases ironed out. Anyone with good ideas on how to improve it for next yr just yell out...hopefully be a bit more organised next season and get 2 full leagues going in dt and sc. Might need 3 even.

i would like to join in 1 DT and 1 SC league next season if you guys will have me.
I had a very poor season and finished ranked between 4,000 and 5,000 in both DT and SC. The freeze out really cost me as i had around 5 duds that i had to get rid of pretty early in the season so i was stuck with only 3 or 4 trades for the last month or so.
I still won 4 out of 6 leagues so i would like to be in some more competative leagues.
I just slapped my teams together in 5 minutes this last season as i forgot about it till the night before, planning to do it when i got home on the Thursady night.
Last season i was around 2,000 in both comps.

Wont be a problem...the more the merrier i would've thought...as long as we organise it well in advance.
I think we were a bit short of having 2 full leagues this yr but no idea how many for next yr. Might be quite a few.
Just make sure you're about well in advance next yr to whack ya name down...same for evryone.
We'll probably do the same next yr with the rankings to get competitive groupings and take it from there.

After getting off to a 7-0 start and then fading badly at the end of the season due to injury/suspension/*****ness I'd like to think i can improve and push for a finals berth next season.

I hope i remember to come here at the start of the pre season cup. Footy season just seems to come to quickly so i sometime forget about these comps like i did this season. I play NFL, NBA, MLB, EPL and AFL fantasy games so it is sometimes hard to keep track of all of them.
I will be happy with just going into the 2nd league as i don't do any research for these comps. I just go with my gut.
I don't take it to seriously like most of you guys seem to.

I dont mind what you guys do next year as long as I'm in the top league! =P
I think those who made top 8 this year should automatically go into next years league, and the bottom 8 spots are free for all.

If you are planning on a competitive league for DT and SC please keep me in mind:
396th Overall in DT 43,207pts
72nd Overall in SC 47,670pts
Enjoyed the season, had some good banter in a few leagues and think we have enough good players on Sportal to get a top league together.
