I was lucky in the sense of late changes this year (from memory maybe once or twice). I never have a player who isn't selected in my starting 22 no matter what eg. Nick Dal Santo being dropped for form got traded for Simon Black.
What really killed me was my slow start to the season when I was struggling for consistency in my players. But once I sorted out the players that were letting me down and replaced them (Nicoski for Bock, N. Thompson for S. Johnson) then my team started getting consistent scores on the board.
Now just concentrating on Overall ranking and see what I can improve it to. No point saving trades now and waiting for players to hit form, I am looking for a replacement for Jonathon Brown as while he still may score his 100 here and there, I need a player who is in form and will be able to score 100's for the rest of the season.
Sounds like you started behind the eight ball a bit in terms of team selection and werent lucky enough to jag a couple of wins early. Next year.... I wouldnt get rid of Browny! He has the next two games up at the gabba against sides he has scored tons against this year already in away games!! Apart from last weekend, he has been scoring pretty well. Maybe get rid of him in the last round as the lions play the swans.

My decision to start Albert Proud (14) on the ground and have Bradshaw (72) warming the pine looks inspired at this stage.
Need 250+ from Ibbo, Sandilands, Lenny and Riewoldt in the last game - struggle town me thinks.......
117 down with a half to go, don't deserve to but may @rse my way out of yet another game.....

Good score Magoo. I got 2050 with Matty Scarlett getting a nice healthy 0 next to his name. My emergency didn't fare much better only scoring 18 (Callan Ward). Ryan O'Keefe was also dissaponting only scoring 26 for my forward line. I was served well by my 3 Richmond boys though: Brett Deledio 125; Jordy McMahon 130; Chris Newman 130.

Yeah the tiges must have had some serious man lovin going on out there today. Massive scores. You must be miffed missing finals...looks like some of the guys in the top 6 may have even run out of trades weeks ago and have been just hanging in there. Your scores have been strong late season and just shyt luck with the HnA results. Stoopid game isnt it.
