One of my leagues is 15th in DT and another 5th in SC  Just thought i'd have a quick brag, as individually i'm going shocking this year

I was originally in this league but was thrown out and couldn't rejoin thanks to the lockout problems. Somehow deadly combination took the spot.
I've scored 28,606 over the 15 weeks and it is a bit lower due to the fact that I've always had a top 4 spot sown up in some easy leagues.

I hope Virtualsports next year bring back the weekly comp, where you get the chance to pick a new side every week. It would be great in the second half of the year for the teams that have no hope of making the 8, or have a bad national ranking, to try and claim a weekly prize. It would also get them alot more website hits!

Have a look at the scoring below u during the season. They've scored 1000-12000 pts more during the season and end up 11th and 12th. V unlucky. prob just nut it all out next week.

Haha gee Magoo, I always said I would make the start of the comp and others could worry about the rest!!
Stress less buddy, and you'll live longer =P
Anyways, your system is good, whatever works. Lets just hope next year they bring in a bigger server with better capacity and we never have this problem again!

After ppl were miffed they seem to have softened somewhat coz we're getting "let him play" feedback. I wonder if they'd be saying the same if he was on top 2 games clear a few weeks ago. Rightio then...Guppy's copped enough shyt stirring over it and everyone is well versed on the story anyway... so lets just go with the website for finals right ? If he wins it'll simply go down as one of those tainted flags ....like the weagles 2006 drug induced 1pt dynasty Chances are he'll choke like last year anyway hehehehehehhehe If no problems then we can just go as it stands with the website for finals ?...ok ?

2124 this week with a weekly ranking of 483 out of 201,971. The only positive to come out of these high scores in the later stages of the season is that my league ranking is improving by the week. Still feel robbed about missing the top 8  . I reckon I would have been in contention especially still having 5 trades left and having 283K still in the bank.....

Especially with the injury/suspension toll mounting by the week... But may i ask - could you have used 2 or 3 of those trades earlier in the year to ensure that you made the finals?? Did you keep players with 3 to 4 week injuries and therefore cop a few zeros which may have resulted in losses?? Or were you just unlucky and copped some high scores against?

I was lucky in the sense of late changes this year (from memory maybe once or twice). I never have a player who isn't selected in my starting 22 no matter what eg. Nick Dal Santo being dropped for form got traded for Simon Black. What really killed me was my slow start to the season when I was struggling for consistency in my players. But once I sorted out the players that were letting me down and replaced them (Nicoski for Bock, N. Thompson for S. Johnson) then my team started getting consistent scores on the board. Now just concentrating on Overall ranking and see what I can improve it to. No point saving trades now and waiting for players to hit form, I am looking for a replacement for Jonathon Brown as while he still may score his 100 here and there, I need a player who is in form and will be able to score 100's for the rest of the season.
