happy with my team, but trouble with my forward line.
It reads: Franklin, Pav, N Riewoldt, Stokes, Chapman, Porps, Bradshaw.
Reserves are J. Morton and D. Gourdis
i finished 2nd in my leauge, and am in a good position to win. But i want to trade chappy and porps due to their injurys!
Please help me and suggest my options.

obviously my defenders are trash, but i have $54k in the kitty and one trade left, what should i do?

Please help me and suggest my options. If you want to use your two trades this week, then trade morton down to a cheapie (there are a few port boys at about 83K that should play out the year - get one of those). Then trade Porps up to Richo, Browny or another gun. Keep chapman as he should be back in the next couple. Porps looks like he is gone now which sucks for me too! However, maybe you have enough cash to upgrade Porps without the other trade?

i qualified 3rd in my league, 19000th overall Id keep the trade for injuries. It looks like you have a full squad of starting players. Maybe when you are on your last chance in the league try and upgrade a player. Next year try not to get players like wojinski and crouch on your bench - massive waste of money!

Lovely work with the draw. Some big news with shaw and didak being suspended for the rest of the home and away season.....going to hurt alot of Dreamteams.

Throw Milburn into that mix too. Half the dt's have the bloke. Hands up who has this week's trifecta ?...Shaw + Didak + Milburn Only got one of them (Shaw like everyone else but hopefully Burgoyne gets a gig)...all those who managed to avoid a lot of the backline disasters this yr might now get a taste of it. Wouldnt be surprised if a few blokes go in with 3-4 zero's this week.

Trades and $400k+ cash don't mean diddly squat now.

In the interest of fairness, I propose that there be a 4 premiership points penalty for each round late a team has been registered. i.e. Since Guppy was two rounds late, he gets an 8 point penalty, and you would have a 4 point penalty. I just feel that, while you may have legitimately selected the team you would have at the start anyway, there should be one hard and fast rule for everyone. Is that fair?

Hmmm...been speaking with him ? I dont mind how u want to do it... but the advantage of having all the best kids as well as picking the flying starters that make u early cash is a hellova advantage to have. Anyway u want to do it is fine tho...you're in charge. If u want him in and nobody minds then fair enough. Whole thing was to put it up then figure out what is fair...if we cant get people to give us feedback then we oughta just go with what YOU think is fair. Just copy and paste the ladder and finals draw as u see it fair and if nobody has any probs then lets go with that. Just dont phuk my spiffy fonts and colours up ...took forever lol

p.s. we gotta have a harsher penalty next yr or everyone will wait till rnd 3
Might be worth chucking up some ideas about relegation/entry for next yr before everyone takes off after finals.
Hopefully get 2 leagues going in both DT and SC next yr...maybe even have a 4pm friday cutoff time on the start day to avoid the freezeout and the "Deadly Combinations"
Be nice to get some feedback on improving for next season coz this league was pretty damn competitive this yr....have a look at the poor buggers like "seethebombersflyup" and Sams FFC...the pts they scored and didnt even make finals.
Without Deadly it was a likely top 20-30 league.
Anyone with feedback on how to improve it for next yr please yell out.
...and we gotta get Red a coach

...and we gotta get Red a coach Although I am struggling to see any positives coming out of this comp after coming 4th overall on points in the league and missing out on the finals, I understand that that is the way the comp works and is one of the reasons it makes it more entertaining for users as a certain element of luck is needed to combine with knowledge. Looking towards next year (*sighs*), we should start the search for the 16 entrants ASAP and have emergencies all teed up just in case we need one. If we can get the 16 "coaches" all decided before the comp opens up, then give them a set time to register (eg. If the comp opens the Monday before the season starts similair to that of this year, then all entrants must have signed up by Wednesday or else we get the 1st emergency to register ASAP). This way it allows us to make sure that no randoms like Deadly are put into our league, thus making our league ranking suffer. The way the selection was this year would work again I suppose. Everyone just post an image of their overall ranking of the previous season and then take into account the persons reliability to see out the season without giving up half way through and their knowledge of football.

Good points Bombers. This league could have been MASSIVE.....maybe even threatened the top 20. p.s: I'm enjoying the 'banter'.
