g'day folks,
sureley the competition isnt too far away from starting......

what do u guys want ya teams to look like for season 2008?
which players could be bargains?
which players/clubs are you gonna stay away from this season?
which players will be too expensive?

I want my team to look something like this following last years sportal player rules.

Fullback: Bowen (Cowboys) bench: Stewart (Sea Eagles)
Centres/Wings: Gasnier (Dragons)/Folau (Storm)/Monaghan (Raiders)/Inu (Eels) bench: Hicks (Sea Eagles)/Covell (Sharks)/Jennings (Panthers)
Five-Eighths: Witt (Warriors) bench: Lockyer (Broncos)
Halfbacks: Cronk (Storm) bench: Wing (Rabbitohs)
Second Rowers: Fitzgibon (Roosters)/Hoffman (Storm)/Luck or Luiaki (Warriors) bench: Kidwell (Rabbitohs)/O'Meley (Roosters)/Creagh (Dragons)
Front Rowers: Price (Warriors)/Smith (Storm)/Farah (Tigers) bench: Civonoceva (Panthers)/Cayeless (Eels)/Kite (Sea Eagles)

Smith/Fitzgibon/Covell possible kickers
Bowen/Folau etc possible captains (try scorers)

I probably wont be able to make that team based on salary cap reasons.....

i reckon krisnan inu and folau will be really expensive but jennings should be reasonably priced, hence the reason why i'll be getting him. luke burt will be back from an injury ravaged season and hopefully be just as good as he was before he got injured, he should be cheap too. i'm gonna get manly's young african winger, gideon mzembe because chances are he'll be really cheap and same with michael bani.

the sportal dream team is really basic with a points system where u awarded for winning games and scoring tries basicaly with a few other scoring methods, other ones like nrl.com give player points for making tackles and hitups and all that, can get very tecniqual.. im not sure which one i prefer.

Just a question, has sportal and virtual severed links now?? If so i'll stick with virtual!
Will be interesting to see player pricings this season! I would imagine Folau,Inu,Witt will be through the roof!
Will really miss Matt King and Chris Hicks for point scoring this season!!!Crying or Very sad
Advice would be, load up on them Storm players!!!Very Happy

Looks like it's "open" now but there are heaps of players missing and loads of players in the wrong positions and what-not.
Same deal as Super14 sportal - just not up to scratch.
