Need to make some forced changes to my backline.
McLeod & Scott Thompson out
This gives me $666,000 to play with which means I can afford any top ranking/averaging backman.
Who is better value:
Newman
Gilbee
McDonald
Milburn
Goddard
Mattner
Lake
Any other ideas? I'm leaning toward Mattner as it will give me some extra spare cash to upgrade next game and beyond. Your help would be appreciated.

Agreed. I picked him up after he had the 3/4 bad weeks in a row he was very cheap. The good thing about him is that if he gets 19/20 touches he will score 100. if he gets 25+ he will score 130+

Franklin, Pavlich, J Brown, Riewoldt, Chapman, Akermanis, B Johnson (Hansen, Davis (WC))
Have five trades with a couple hundred k in the bank. Out Wilkes and in someone good, leaves four trades for injury. Im happy for the moment.
Although with Goodes, McLeod and Cornes out this week hurts a bit

I'm on 1650 with Ablett (c), Thompson (Adel), Jolly, Shaw, Taylor, Brown, Stokes, O'Keefe to come. I'm 5 points up on my opponent with both of us having Ablett as captain.

Id be happy with 2100 Thompson hasnt been scoring well lately and i doubt Tippett will get 100 like he did last round
