did it on grass with a bad ankle and i didnt have it strapped + i was sliding around in sneakers alot
11.5 was the outcome. i was disappointed Why would you go through the effort for straping an ankle for a beep test.

i reckon you can get higher if you learn how to beat it like walking at the start and a few little tricks you can pick up after doing it a couple of times ?

... it is a typical discipline that you can train specifically for ... fit distance runners have an obvious advantage ... best run on a firm footing (concrete or indoor) ... my daughter did 11.10 when she was 12 y.o., but she was a State x country runner too! Elite level athletes (afl) do above 13 to 15+ generally, plenty of 12 - 16 y.o. endurance athletes do 10 - 15+. NRL players rarely do better than 10's! ... different types of athletes - they rely on explosive speed ... as they like to say, "I never had to run 3k to score a try or make a tackle, so why would I do it at training!?" Ultimately it is more a measure of aerobic capacity than anything else, and if you are trying to do it when not fully fit, you will not get much out of it! ... oh, and I understand that the AFL are moving to a test where you run the first 20m and back, and then have about a 5 second "rest" before the next level beep. This is intended to be more game orientated. Personally, I get out of breath watching!

So the twenty meter test sounds interesting!

Personally I find this interesting, as Drew Petrie (admittedly a ruckman) came to our school (which he attended), and did a beep test, and he only got like 10 something

Freak, Should have stuck to Rugby The guy is a super athlete do you know how fit you have to be to go 12 rounds.... Mundine is probably one of the fittest athletes out there that's why he's The Man,he doesnt drink, smoke and trains like a man possessed id love to see him do the beep test it would be a spectacle,21 is mind boggling, but its believable as he is a superior athlete! 13.7 is good too, good on ya...

... 13.7 for 14 y.o. is elite level ... well done!
Mundine IS a freak, but unfortunately, also a tool! ... he was actually "made" for AFL, pity he never tried that ... David Beckham is another who reportedly tops the 20's.

Wow you guys are idiots. I've tried to make the beep on level 20 sprinting my fastest and was fresh before I started. You can't make it. It's like every 3 seconds. It goes on a ratio and at level 20 or so it's impossible.
