well i wanted a ball playing backrower at 12 coz they have a bit of size. can break tackles and playmake he was the only 1 i could think of

an alternative would be campese at 12 and Thurston at 10. or, setamaita sa, greg bird or steve menzies could do it.

Hayman one of the best props of the last decade and is the same height as Petero, just because the general Aussie prop is short and fat aka Matt Dunning doesnt mean all props are.

hayman also had a good deal of weight on petro, the man was a giant! but actually that is beside the point, the props in union are arguably some of the most gifted, committed and skilled player on the field! Sounds weird i know, and no, i'm not a prop, but the hours they spend in the scrum machines, or doing wrestling training and general core work is the equivalent of the time DC spend practicing kicking. NOBODY, i don't care how big they are, could possibly expect to pack into a S14 scrum, let alone a against someone of Hayman's calibre, without years of training and practice, and expect to come out in one piece. As for guys like thurston converting/being to small, clearly according to your stats he's not and we here so often how guys are to small they'll never make it. I reckon if your good enough you are big enough, the issue is whether your body is prepared/in the right shape for the situations a new game puts you in! Giteau has been smashed in the bottom of rucks all his life, he's used to it as a small guy! Thurston though might not position himself correctly etc, and when you are 30 odd kg smaller than the bloke who is about to smash you you really do need to know what you are doing. Anyway thats my rant for this week.

can't see bird receiving to many contracts now, least of all from the ARU!

maybe, but sponsors and fans remember things like that! kinda like hunt and his behavior. certainly the ARU won't be looking for any more possible "wendalls"

when i was watching the league finals i was thinking ....you could make Crocker into a pretty good tight-head...right body shape...similar to summerville

Not that it necessarily means he couldn't do it but it'd be interesting.

that's a given jackass.. of course he'd have to bulk up.. but i see potential in him...plus he's a lot smarter than the average league forward....eg bird....webb...mason

mitchell pearce would be a gun. hes a good defender and apparently one of the fastest at the roosters. Be a good halfback/flyhalf/inside.
