A few suprising selections and players left out. Lee Gilmour, Peter Fox, Joe Westerman, Michael Shenton, Louis McCarty-Scarsbrook and probably more will feel unlucky to miss out. Pursham, Sykes, Langley and Calderwood all suprising selections.
If Brent Webb didn't get injured before the SL GF Lee Smith wouldn't be there. Had a blinder at fullback and could well take the spot off Wellens for game or two. Looks a good fullback for England's future, alot of Poms complain about Wellens being too slow and Smith isn;t lacking in speed.
anyway from that squad.
1. P Wellens 2. L Smith 3. M Gleeson 4. K Senior 5. A Gardner 6. L Pryce 7. R Burrow 8. J Graham 9. J Roby 10. J Peacock 11. G Hock 12. G Ellis 13. K Sinfield 14. A Morley 15. M Fa'asavalu 16. J Wilkin 17. D McGuire/M Higham

My tip is they will beat Australia once, although the poms have had a habit in the past of doing that in the early stages and losing in the final.

oh yeah I get it now, I thought he meant that if Webb hadn't been injured he would have been in the GB side.

I would tip England in a game where they were both full strength, England aren't exactly injury free, they are missing Sam Burgess, Gareth Raynor, Sean O'loughlin, Andy Lynch and a few more. Burgess is a real good players and would have made the side for sure, Lynch and Raynor were both in good form during the year but pulled out near the end.

the poms arent that good. what because the pommie commentators who pump there tyres up. put them against the aussies forward pack and they will look like under 13 players.

I think i can judge whether a plyer is good or not, a commentator doesn't have to tell me. If England don't make the final it will be because they choke, they are easily the 2nd best team.

curiously, could some one let me know what the squads from other, less important to u guys, countries? like wales (for eg, is wallace gonna play for them?), lebanon (hazem?), and the islander countries cos they are interesting as there are so many random nrl players in those teams that u just didnt realise are from that country, or are that good. cheers boys

That's a bit of a surprise. Lee Smith deserves to be in there, not just on the grand final. Side packed full of decent players, should give both the Aussies and kiwis a run for their money at least. EDIT: OK, just read the rest of the posts and saw Burgess is injured... that makes more sense than dropping him!
