I really think Karmichael Hunt showed why he should start at fullback. Played excellent in attack and defence! although Slater improved out of site since game 1!..
Hunt to start, billy off the bench for mine

Start with Hunt and then when he gets Knocked Out or hurts himself doing big hits we can bring on Billy.

As much as I think Billy Slater is the best fullback in the NRL, I reckon Mal has it spot on starting Hunt, than bringing Slater off the bench to fullback and Hunt on later to lock. Hope he does the same in game 3.

I love Billy Slater, but I will admit that Hunt is the better player. He is the best fullback in the world.
The tactic of starting Hunt, then moving him to lock when Slater is introduced is brilliant. Mal has found a way to incorporate both in the team, and they will cause NSW no end of trouble.

I agree Hunt is excellent personally I feel that players like slater and stewart lacking the already game needed by a fullback Hunt and Gidley are the best at the moment

I think Mal got it spot on in Game 2. Bringing Slater after the initial onslaught is a perfect way to use him.
