Well basically its now only out of Hamilton and Massa. Who do you think will win?
Hamilton is 7 points ahead at the moment, but Ferrari have Kimi to help Massa, whereas McLaren cant do much with Keikki as he wont be close enough to the front to be a factor.

Its pretty much done and dusted. Fuji next weekend is suppost to be wet and that will pretty much seal it for lewis. A win there will push him out to 9 points basically a race so that will mean he will just need to finish in the top 5 the final 2 races to secure the title

Hamilton will win it. It won't be a repeat of his 2007 capitulation. Saying that, if Massa wins in Fuji then you never know. To me Hamilton is too consistent and therefore will take the crown, Massa has blown it on the weekend and his engine blow in Hungary. That's cost him 20 points, Hamilton has lost 4 because of the Belgium incident.

I think the Fuji race is probably the deciding race, as if Hamilton can win the gap should be big enough for the championship given his car is reliable the rest of the season. If Ferrari can get a 1-2 finish Massa will have a good chance as he will probably do better in Brasil.

Fuji is predicted to be very wet like in 07' which suits Hamilton and well could spell a premature end to Massa's title hopes.

I'm with Enforcer. I think LH is doing enough, but damn i'd like to see Massa win it - not because he's in a Ferrari, but because he's the most improved driver and he's paid his dues.
That stop-light system failure in Singapore was so cruel. God I would have *****-slapped the Force India guys for not helping unhook the hose

Although I would love to see Felipe win it, Lewis is an unbackable favourite. You have to say Hamilton but you just never know.....

To be fair, if it wasn't for the fact it went dry when it did, Lewis would have won from 15th. Not taking anything away from Vettel, lewis had to make 2 pit stops within 7 laps and was fueled on a 1 stop strategy. This is where he lost it, it he could of held out 4 more laps the race was his. There were only 2 people that were on the pace to win it, him and Vettel. No one else was even close to the times they were doing in the wet and the wet/dry conditions. if you try and argue that, then you can't forget that lewis had the luck of the irish in monaco. he scarcely deserved so much as a point after his incident early on, but with the help of the weather and a couple of lucky pit stops, all of a sudden he's "walking in the shadow of ayrton senna".

it will help if hamilton has a low/ no points finish in there somewhere
i wonder if the memories from china and brazil 07 will haunt him

Nah because BMW stopped developing the car it has robbed him, he lead after Canada when he got his maiden win but once that happened BMW put a freeze on development of the 2008 car and is all focused on 2009. They achieved their goal, to win a race in 08', now they want to win the Championship in 2009. Saying that Robert has been great this year and his current 3rd place in the standings is well deserved.
