Not sure if any of you English football fans are aware of this, but a stats company publish what is known as the Actim Index for both ther Premier League and the Championship. This gives a rating to players each game and is a ranking of the best players in the League.

At the moment the top three in the Prem are:

Gabriel Agbonlahor
Frank Lampard
John Carew

Top three in the Champ are:

Kevin Doyle (RED)
Stephen Hunt (RED)
Chris Iwelumo (WOV)
